I’m certain the others are platitudes and egos and we need a serious, brilliant, strong leader at this crucial time, and that man is only Newt Gingrich.
No damn lawyers, period.
The school is under new management now and all the nuts and charlatans are gone :-)

FR arranged an event several years ago, A Ronald Reagan Library/ barbecue (held at a freeper’s home) which was wonderful. A few of us from San Diego drove up and several from northern and central CA came down, too, including Jim Robinson and his family.
Not sure if anything like that will happen again - times have changed so much.
So glad to hear of the ongoing events you can enjoy.

Guys, that was the most wonderful, moving townhall meeting I have ever seen. It is an absolutely MUST WATCH video.
And what an enthusiastic audience!
I doubt it would hurt him. ORU is just a small school in Tulsa. The students are completely normal christians.

Got front row seats, cause we were very early, then got to shake his hand and tell him FREE REPUBLIC freepers send their love and support. He appreciated that as well as when I told him that I pray for him every night, that the LORD will raise up a Leader and that it is him.
Much the same speech as ORU this afternoon, and several standing ovations. He liked that. Great evening.
Anyway, I just wanted to you all to know I did mention all you NEWTERS on F.R.
I had met him in 1994, and have a Campaign shirt I have candidates, Senators, etc. sign. Newt signed it in 1994 and again tonight. I started the shirt signing when I went to the Dan's Bake sale in Ft. Collins, Colorado years back.

I agree Marguerite. Newt was at his very best there at ORU. He probably felt right at home. Calista was not standing up there against him clapping and he was engaging and funny. Best speech he has had so far. With that audience he just made a very big gain in OK. That’s a lot of people to go out and tell friends and neighbors, “Newt Gingrich really knows what to do to turn this country around.”

Newt looked indeed happy to be with students. He’s been a professor for most of his life and obviously he loves that.
Those nice young people warmed my heart. They are the future of America and they deserve the best future for themselves and their families to come.
Yes, and I loved his answer about how to get the young people to vote for him this time. “Easy, last time Obama’s campaign was ‘yes we can’, this time it will be ‘why we couldn’t’”
