Obviously, the whole idea is to get the debate cancelled and stifle Gingrich from starring in his own backyard. Anyone who still thinks santorum and romney are not in cahoots needs to look at this long and hard.
It could backfire if the debate goes on, however, with Paul serving as a congenial and humorous foil for a nationally broadcast Newt infomercial.

Put that way, I just might have to watch...Newt vs. Ron Paul in a debate? Ron Paul's stammering and crazy uncle demeanor as he shouts "federal reserve" and "no more war" over and over against Newt's intellectual arguments could be quite fun to watch.

Yes, something reeks about this.
This does not happen by chance.

I share yall's sentiments .. GOP is characteristically moronic for buying into the whole 'enemy hosting the debates' scenario to begin with, and Rom-torum could well be in cahoots with this particular move.
I'll still vote, but it's looking more and more likely that this nation is less than a year away from widespread un-civil insurrection

No the idea is Gingrich is going to win Georgia so why bother? Santorum and Romney will be doing more useful things than letting the media play “gotcha” with the candidate. Now it won’t get to ask Santorum about birth control.
We have seen too many debates as it is.

More disgusting weasel behavior from Bland and Blander, Ltd.
When does Newt rise in the polls? When people get to see him in the debate. When does he fall like a stone? When people DON’T.
Good grief... is this ALL a friggin’ set-up from the get-go?! Is it preordained to end up with the Romneybot as the candidate, with Santorum granted the VP spot to “placate” conservatives?

Much food for thought in that post. Have to wonder why. I haven’t paid too much attention this week, but now you have my radar up. THank you!!
