On Tuesday, POLITICOs Keach Hagey published a story on Fox News course correction a Roger Ailes-backed move that has many conservatives up in arms. This Fox moves left theme is nothing new; last month an activist group called for the re-hiring of Glenn Beck after the network brought in Sally Kohn as a contributor.
Hagey found a contingent of people at CPAC who felt that Fox News perceived move to the center had lessened the enjoyment of their viewing experience. These former devotees have decided to turn instead to the Internet and Roku boxes to get their fill of conservative news and entertainment whether it be from Glenn Beck, The Blaze, or a host of other conservative offerings. A sort of niche backlash has swelled up against the network, with many conservatives feeling theyve been abandoned.
Ive gone from all Fox to no Fox, and replaced it with CNN, which I think right now is giving me a much fairer analysis of whats going on, John Fredericks told Hagey. I feel theyve lost that independent conservative mantra that had drove people like me to them. I used to feel that I got it straight, and I got an independent conservative view. Now, what I get is some wholly owned subsidiary of the RNC.

Ahhh.... You really reminded me of one really bad one there. I cannot stand Smiley Green!
Yuck!
Well I would be all up for a conservative news channel. because to me various people on the right are being silenced. Basically Sarah Palin and Megyn Kelly and sometimes Eric Bolling are it for me. And Eric just lost his Fox Business Show.
Haven’t watched Fox since Beck left.
Actually, haven’t signed up for Beck’s new network either; I was going to but his attacks on Gingrich seemed a bit out-of-plumb so I’ve dragged my feet on signing up. Actually, Coulter’s attacks on Gingrich seem out of plumb, come to think of it. A guy like Gingrich has so much to shoot at justifiably, but some attacks just don’t ring right.
Uh-oh. Got side-tracked there.
O’Reilly is conservative??
That’s a laugh.
“Where are the wealthy conservatives to begin their own network, I say.”
I’ve been hounding Rush regularly for months suggesting that he get together some conservative investors and make an offer to buy low-rated CNN which could then be re-made into a true conservative channel.
Care to join me?
I don’t watch Fox anymore unless I am forced to.
I read.
I’m not a libertarian either—but at least Napolitano and Stossel are smart and challenging. Stossel’s strength is Austrian economics and Napolitano is a constitutionalist. On those issues, I usually agree with them.
Yes, I wonder why so many Freepers waste their time looking at television, any television.
I’ve always preferred receiving my information via the written word.
How are Glenn Beck's GBTV ratings measured? Is his "TV" network rated within the Nielsen ratings?
So far as I can find out, Michelle quit Bill’s show before that election because Geraldo Rivera made comments about her on the show that she took objection to and she didn’t like how Bill handled it.

I saw that program. Geraldo called her a whore and said that if he ever ran into her on a sidewalk he would spit on her. Bill just sat there and said nothing. Malkin demanded an apology and didn’t get one from either of the two men. .....Geraldo should have been fired.
Ahhh.... You really reminded me of one really bad one there. I cannot stand Smiley Green!

‘Smiley’ is good, but I prefer to call her ‘Shamu’ Green!
Greta and her husband are Scientologists and I think she probably leans to the left. ....However, I think she does the very best interviews on FNC and is successful in not disclosing her own political views. She IS fair and balanced.
