While positive ratings for Congress remain at an all-time low, more voters than ever see the Republican agenda in Congress as extreme.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 35% of Likely Voters say it would be more accurate to describe the agenda of Republicans in Congress as mainstream, while 52% feel extreme is a more accurate description. Thirteen percent (13%) are not sure.

No doubt about it, the MSM has been very successful in portraying Republicans as "extreme." Between them and the total domination by the left of our educational system, they have managed to dumb our population down to the point that they agree with the DHS that talking about the Constitution, our Founding Fathers, and balanced budgets is "extreme."

That said, I still believe Obama can be defeated, but we need someone who can by-pass the MSM and educate the America voters on what conservatism actually is. The only people I know of who might accomplish that are Newt, Palin (both of whom have been severely damaged) or someone like Marco Rubio. It has to be someone with terrific oratory skills and strong core conservative beliefs. That former is what leaves Santorum out. He's strong on conservatism, but he lacks the oratory skills and he lacks the charisma that goes with those skills.

Sooo . . . yeah, we are in deep doo-doo. Right now a brokered convention may be our best hope.

We have earned a total financial implosion. This nation is going to collapse soon and we have no one to blame but ourselves.

Lots of people don't want to hear the GOP or anyone else tell them that we are beyond broke. The MSM is not the problem, the people are.

So let me see if I get this: The majority of the US population is identified as “Conservative” and is against Obamacare, but the GOP agenda in Congress is radical? Sorry, but I smell the stench of Bull Shite in my nostrils.

Education continues unabated, and with remarkable speed to systematically dismantle all things identifiable as American, of her ideals, her Christian foundations, traditions and her extraordinary freedom to succeed or fail, the rights of the individual.

We are all collectivsts now, and not a peep from the people, nor their candidates about churning out more of the same through the pipeline of indoctrination, known as public education.

They want Newt out so Santorum can be competitive against Romney. What a crock. They want Newt out to save themselves and guarantee Romney as the nominee. Newt knows “education” and has lived the results.

Money is the only superdelegate this cycle.

Notice how the meme plays?

Anything not in keeping with the Democrat current truth is called “EXTREME!”

Republicans are bigots, racists, and anti-science homophobic bible thumpers, who want Grandma to eat dog food and die.

Anyone who watches the Magic Talking Box in the living room knows this to be fact.

Oprah and NBC Nightly News wouldn’t lie, would they?

What you will see is either a Republican president with a Democrat congress or vice versa next November.

Good luck with that. What is more likely is the uninspiring GOP candidate will depress turnout and allow Dems to gain, maybe take the House.

Obama with his lemming like followers sadly have put an end to the “Great American Experiment”.

“the power the MSM has is on the decline thanks to FR, Breitbart and others who are becoming an increasingly powerful force in American politics.”

Don’t kid yourself in to believing that...

The mere fact that a man like Barack Obama is currently sitting in the White Hut should be proof that you are mistaken.

How many examples do you need?
The sheeple just bleat along with whatever the Magic Talking Box in the living room tells them every night. In today’s media-centric society, the TRUTH no longer matters, just the narrative.

It doesn't matter what folks know, it matters only what they believe. When almost every news cast includes democrats describing Republican positions as extreme, the position is reinforced repeatedly.

It is not an accident.

“It doesn’t matter what folks know, it matters only what they believe.”

RIGHT NOW, on Bloomberg, Obama is speaking live, claiming that he has created 3.7 MILLION new jobs.

Yet, WE KNOW that total payrolls have FALLEN by two million since Obama took office. This LIE will not be challenged on the mainstream media news shows tonight, it will, in fact, be trumpeted.

The headlines in tomorrow’s papers, and on on today’s cell phone news alerts will be :

‘RECOVERY SPEEDING UP. OBAMA CREATES 3.7 MILLION JOBS!’

ANYONE in the mainstream media who dares to challenge “The Current Truth” will be in danger of losing their own jobs. Would you want to be a reporter looking for a new job in the Obama Economy?

WAKE UP, FOLKS....

Here’s what I found, and IMO the word “extreme” was put into their mouths as in no other real choice under the current circumstances. See Item #4 below.

National Survey of 1,000 Likely Voters
Conducted February 8-9, 2012
By Rasmussen Reports

1* In political terms, is Barack Obama more conservative than you are, more liberal than you are or about the same?

2* In political terms, is the average Republican in Congress more conservative than you are, more liberal than you are or about the same?

3* In political terms, is the average Democrat in Congress more conservative than you are, more liberal than you are or about the same?

4* Would it be more accurate to describe the agenda of Republicans in Congress as mainstream or extreme?

5* Would it be more accurate to describe the agenda of Democrats in Congress as mainstream or extreme?

This isn’t a good survey at all IMO.

Don’t kid yourself in to believing that...

How much power did the MSM exert in 2010? They are in decline with out a doubt. Still powerful yes. In decline absolutely.

We have earned a total financial implosion. This nation is going to collapse soon and we have no one to blame but ourselves.

Nailed it.

Enjoy what is left of our economy while you can. The total collapse is coming soon and it won't be pretty for anybody except the ultra wealthy and the politically connected.

Plus, you can bet the American people will blame the GOP for the entire thing. Had we pulled together as a party, we might have stood a chance, but we decided we hate each other even more than we hate Obambi and his minions.

We have squandered our last, best opportunity. Total free fall coming in 2013. Get you tickets now.

Quoting the brilliant Richard Fernandez (Belmont Club), "Obama is ultimately unimportant. It is not because he is President that the crisis has come. On the contrary, it is because the crisis has come that he is the President."

That's about the most insightful thing I've read in the last 20 years.

Damn right - Obama and the FED are doing a classic pump and dump until the election.

After this monster is re-elected we are heading for a fiscal, moral, civil, and national apocolypse most people are not financially, emotionally, or physically prepared for.
