I’d almost forgotten that we even have a Congress. Sadly, the members thereof seem to have forgotten it too.

Just wait, you don’t know the half of what is going on. You should see what is happening in WA State.

The Democrat legislature is trying to pass a series of bill that will essentially destroy the elective process.

We have all mail-in voting in WA state. Now, they want to add same day registration. so, if you aren’t a registered voter, you can vote on voting day, but others must mail in their ballots, before noon on voting day. While they don’t open the inner ballot ahead of voting day, they do open the outer envelope, from which they can tell what precinct the voter lived in. So, by extrapolation, they can get a rough estimate of voter turn out from each party. They turn these figures over to the parties in several increments during the voting period.

The other bill is what I call, the Heads we win, Tails You Lose bill. In addition to all mail voting, we also have district wide voting, meaning that the cities get to vote on who represents the suburban ad rural districts, as well. So, if that isn’t bad enough, the Democrats have proposed a bill that would allow any minority to challenge the election results by claiming that their vote was diluted by the district wide voting process and that they were essentially disenfranchised. Of course, these minorities all vote Democrat, so this would only come into play if a Republican won. So, It’s heads, Democrats win, Tails, Republicans Lose.

Then there is the move to have extra-legislative bodies pass land use regulations and manage funds collected from mitigation fees, permits and fines, to train a corps of brown shirt neighbors to spy on other neighbors and report their land use activities to these appointed extra-legislative boards.

I say let the son-of-a-bitch keep hanging himself.

Gives us a better chance of winning in November.

Actually, this is not really “bypassing Congress” ... it is written in the ObamaCare bill that the “Secretary will decide” many issues like this.

What actually bypassed Congress is the unfathomable way the whole bill was shoved down America’s throat, and “pass the bill” so now we “see what is in the bill”.
