Morning all,
Great post AB! Amen!
“Every American needs to stand together”
I think a lot of them are. I haven’t been watching Hannity much lately - getting home from work late and/or got bored with him. However, I did watch last Friday night and he had a variety of clergy on. There was only 1 Rabbi from NY that was basically OK with it, most/all the rest were not, including another Rabbi. Father Jonathan Morris (a Fox contributor & whom I like very much) was great and a Black Clergyman (I don’t recall his name, but IIRC he was from a church in a Seattle suburb - Kirkland)was Fabulous!!
As Huckabee has said a few times, “We’re all Catholics now”.
Huckabee had a good point on Fox n Friends yesterday a.m.:
Paraphrasing: He takes an aspirin, various vitamins, etc. every day because he chooses to - he doesn’t expect the government to pay for those. Why should all of us be expected to pay for someone’s BC pills - it’s their choice if they choose to take them.
Sarah up now talking about the GOP-E and who they are.
Prempts Ryan on my TV.
She’s responding to Lews comments. “Shocked at the spin” how faith based Americans offended at the erosion of their religious freedom
The problem is that too many people think that events don’t happen when they are not covered on television.
People fall into that with the 24-hour cable channels, thinking that with that much air time, everything important will get coverage.
Wrong. Part of the media’s control is the suppression of information, done cleverly with distracting stories which catch the public’s attention. Car chases instead of coverage or bills introduced by the GOP. And just last night, Whitney Houston’s death consumed all evening programming, ignoring the continued and escalating opposition to the HHS contraception mandate.
This refusal to carry stories is the source of the questions about “Why doesn’t Boehner DO something?” when, in fact, he has introduced numerous bills which have passed but are being held hostage in the Senate.
Santorum - that’s pretty funny for Romney to be accusing him of acting like a democrat. George Steph. asks (in a serious voice), “Why is that funny?” (Hello, George??) Santorum goes on to explain how it is funny.
George plays a 2006 campaign ad where Santorum talks about raising minimum wage, funding AMtrak. Santorum explains why he did this for this limited campaign/time frame in PA. Accuses Romney of doing far worse with the “Indexed” minimum wage. (okay, here’s another issue I have no idea what he’s talking about).
Now talking about women in combat - George asks Santorum about section in book about women feeling forced to join/stay in the work force because of radical feminism. Santorum explains that chapter was cowritten by his wife (a nurse and a lawyer). His wife thought a lot of people looked down their nose at women who chose to stay at home and raise their family. (Santorum is right on this issue......they do.)
Palin tap-dancing around Romney as a conservative candidate. Actually said Obamney-care. Har.
Heh, Sarah “mis-spoke” and said “ObomneyCare” after calling Romney a fine candidate.
Now Wallace asks her to compare Newt to Santorum.
Palin on FOX - Sounds like the pied piper leading the flock to Romneyville.
Palin calls for the candidates to make their own case and stop ripping into each other.
Well, IIRC she wrote that in the early nineties. Anybody heard from her since the anointed one came to power?
Wallace is insisting on peppering Palin about the upcoming HBO movie. She wants to discuss other issues.
Remember that (in Scripture) women represent humanity. In this case, the appeal to women within the Church represents an appeal to human carnality. Scripture says, "Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him."
Human carnality wants the pleasure of the flesh while rejecting the heritage and reward from the LORD.
Romney has said that he advocates automatic increases in the federal minimum wage, "indexed" to some public metric like cost of living or inflation. This would be an historic first, as so far, all minimum wage increases have been particularly legislated, with definite increases at dates certain.
This is also about zero being the supreme leader. He will never be denied, never take no for an answer.Especially, as long as he has megalomaniacs like soros and henchmen like axelrod in the background pulling his strings.
When forcing the Catholic Church to provide abortions fails to poll well, the adm./dem-rats back off. We must always remember there really are there are no true belifs/convictions other than pure power held by the left.
In the process axelrod/et all conceive a nasty little plan that zero can simply illegally mandate/force insurance companies to pay the cost. Zeros handlers conveniently forget to say that the insurance companies will simply pass the cost on to whomever pays for insurance ---the public. These guys are nothing if not slick.
Talking about Palin’s article in Newsweek about raising Trig.
Well said, we are all Catholic at this moment.
This Lew is an evil little man...
“America is at that awkward stage. It’s too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards.”
If the GOP doesn’t fear the Tea Party (conservatives) then we have govt without representation and that certainly supports the above statement.
Thanks God a few in positions of influence are getting it! Great post fish.
