LOS ANGELES - Whitney Houston, who ruled as pop music's queen until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use, erratic behavior and a tumultuous marriage to singer Bobby Brown, has died. She was 48.

Really? Me too.
WOW u serious? Well howdy neighbor
The film The Bodyguard is her greatest legacy.
I saw her at Sweetwaters above Hells Kitchen in 1983 I think...very young and cute..nice pipes...a showcase performance before she even took off on MTV
she sure did look or act like a druggie type then
got a lil freeper on the scene stuff....a friend out there is one of the EMT’s....she said the body may remain in the room for 5 more hours.....she said when a 1st responder showed up they requested a crime scene police presence
We will alway love you, Whitney....always.

RIP dear heart.
Very sad.
Hollyweird.
Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
It was during the first Gulf War in 1991. She sang one of the great renditions ever of our National Anthem at the Super Bowl = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1QmeEdFOSc
I still remember that night.
God rest her soul.
Just this week I saw a photo of her in the Daily Mail stumbling out, plastered from a bar. I said to my husband that Whitney has fallen off the wagon in a big way. She was such a beautiful woman blessed with so much talent.
RIP
No body had anymore chances to get her life straight than Whitney Houston. Yes she was talented, had a great voice and was a phenomenal talent. However, in the end, she was a crack head.
She CHOSE crack over her family, her daughter, her career, her fans and her life. Why she is being idolized is beyond me.
Super Bowl XXV was played on January 27, 1991 at Tampa Stadium in Tampa, Florida to decide the National Football League (NFL) champion following the 1990 regular season. The National Football Conference (NFC) Champion New York Giants (16-3) defeated the American Football Conference (AFC) champion Buffalo Bills (15-4), 2019. It is the only Super Bowl decided by one point.
Super Bowl XXV was played under much patriotic fervor, due to the Gulf War. The proceedings included a rousing rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” by Whitney Houston.
Giants running back Ottis Anderson, who carried the ball 21 times for 102 yards and one touchdown, was named Super Bowl MVP. He was the first awardee to receive the newly named “Pete Rozelle Trophy” (named for the former commissioner).[2] Anderson also recorded one reception for seven yards.
However, the game may be best remembered for Bills placekicker Scott Norwood’s last-second field goal attempt which went right of the uprights, leading to a Giants victory and starting a four-game losing streak in the Super Bowl for the Bills. It is frequently referred to as the “Wide Right Game”.
From what I heard on Fox 11 News here locally, she was acting erratically for days, doing hand stands near the pool, walking around like she had no clue where she was. Sounds a lot like what happened with Amy Winehouse, didnt have drugs in her system but a crapload of booze which can also cause death. Tomorrow we should get a good idea if more tests are needed, if we hear they need to do toxicology then yeah, definite drug/alcohol overdose

What a waste! All that beauty and talent. Reminds me of Judy Garlands fate.
One of my neighbors (middle aged Black lady) has a little white dog named Bobby Brown.
Sad, all the money in the world and she couldn’t escape the life and death of a junkie who’s husband hit her. RIP.
