Obama's Act of Tyranny
CNS News ^ | February 10, 2012 | Terence P. Jeffrey

"The edict President Barack Obama passed down today—that every health-care plan in America must pay for sterilizations and all FDA-approved contraceptives, including those that cause abortions--is an act of tyranny.

To individual American Catholics, and those who share the Catholic religious and moral conviction that sterilization, artificial contraception and abortion are wrong, Obama said: I am ordering you to buy a health insurance plan that violates the teachings of your faith and your conscience."

I feel the same way you do. It seems the coup is complete and they are all just sitting back hoping people don’t notice it. The home I bought outside the US was the best investment I ever made. I didn’t really think I would need it, now I feel I will.

>>>Obama wants a world where no one marries. Everyone just temporarily “hooks up,” there is no accountability, and there is no family.

Sounds like animal life, really.<<<

Actually, I live in the Alaskan wilderness, so I have a front-row seat about the mating habits and family lives of the creatures around me. All of the animals I’m familiar with, moving all the way down to the mosquitoes and dragonflies, have an ordered process for mating that includes some sort of procedure to attract a mate, procreate, and provide for the young, even if it is just dropping the egg in the right kind of stagnant water. Among the mammals, the norm is maternal care up through adulthood, which includes looking after the baby and child and defending the young against trouble, even up to sacrificing their own lives to do it. Among the mammals and birds, mothers (and sometimes fathers) spend a lot of time teaching the young what is needed to survive. No, it is not perfect, nor is it pretty by human standards, but the norm among the higher orders is care of the young, cautious selection in mating, and commitment to the species.

My point is that, sadly, many people have degenerated to a place that is actually below that of animals.

God help us.

Yeah. Sadly, there probably really are no species that deliberately kill their own.

Wow — really puts it into perspective. Could also be something to point out to these environmental wackos who are so concerned about extinction, etc.

“Listen to nature,” we are always told.

One thing we DO have that animals do not ...is free will. I guess free will has more to do with abortion than anything .. .the “choice” to do harm or not. The choice to put one’s own life above that of another, not wanting to be inconvenienced.

Sweet animals ...never “inconvenienced” by their young.

you hit the nail on the head- We can complain all we want about the blatANT violations of constitutional rights, but noone is goign to do a darn thing to oppose him so he’ll go right on trampling all over our rights knowing that noone is going to stop him from doing so- He ‘tested the waters’ when he was first elected- violating religious rights, and found out that because he’s a black man in the whuite house, the press was going to do NOTHING to call him to the carpet for violating our rights, nor was anyone going to hold him accoutnaqble because heaven forbid, someone somewhere might cry raqcism IF someone dared stand up for themselves and expose the FACT that our consitutional rights had been violated-

Obama found out early on that he gets a free pass qwhen it comes to being held accoutnaqble by the press- so he has since systematically undermined our very rights knowing full well that he was goign to hjave complete support in the media for doing so- BUt, as iof this wasn’;t bad enough, He makes it appear that anyone that doesn’t support his violations of the consitution, are the bad guys- and the media has helped him perpetrate this gross assault on ALL of us

@ Mojitojoe

Dang, I've been wondering about becoming an expat for awhile now but can't deal with the tropics. I was considering the Philipines but don't speak a word of Tagalog. Maybe Canada, I hear they have this cool oil pipeline deal/s

I really hope we can find a leader, and it's not a complete coup. But it's just so silent it's , well, it's giving me the creeps. I hope your new digs are great because it sure would alleviate some of my stress if I didn't have to live here all the time. I never thought I'd say that, never. This sucks.

I can’t deal with the cold. Tropical beaches, fishing and diving are just fine with me. If anything ever happens to the power, you won’;t freeze to death in the tropics. I have several friends that have purchased homes in Costa Rico, Panama, Canada, etc. Canada’s health care stinks and it’s cold but I have friends that have bought there just because it’s close and easy. One of them has a really cool place but you have to take a boat about 10 miles up a river to get to it. It’s weird, lots of houses there, electricity, and all but no roads.
