Not one of the other candidates can lay out a plan and platform like Newt does. The others speak in platitudes but Newt gives specifics. He’s been there and done that and can do it again. You can see the sincerity in his demeanor. Not so with the others.

I don’t think “thingy’s” does justice to the man’s jewels.
Unfortunately conservatives are still split. We need Newt's experience and real vigor on attacking liberalism, which Santorum just doesn't seem to have. Santorum just doesn't sound like the attack-dog we need.
He had his crowd in the seats. Thye loved him. The problem with his speech is that he spent the whold time trying to convince the viewing audience that he really is a conservative, therefore not dong what Newt just did... Taking it to Obama! It did nothing for me!
I can honestly say I love every point Newt made in his speech...every one of them!!!!

I think they were waiting to see if he still had the fire. I think as they listened to the specifics which they didn’t get from the other two they began to realize that he actually has a workable plan and knows how to implement it.
That whole “insider” meme that Romney tries to throw at Newt is bogus. On the one hand he says Newt was ousted by the establishment then tries to convince people that he’s part of the inside establishment. I think Newt is the perfect “outsider”. After the way the treated him in DC he owes no one anything but still has the experience and knowledge of how to get things done in DC. That’s why the “establishment” is scared to death of him.
Did you see the line of guys that followed them out...Must have been a dozen of them.
