We are indeed all sinners - and we all fail at many times in our lives, despite our best efforts to live up to the Word.

Engage the sinners, indeed! Show them the way - but those who are recalcitrant in their error, and actively seek to undo the Church, like these Democrat politicians, need to be shown the door.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

The Roman Catholic Church is not a democracy. The Ten Commandments, the Two Great Commandments, and the Doctrines of the Church are not mere guidelines but rather rubrics that require require strict observance by the faithful.

For those who think as these Democrat politicians do, there is an array of liberal Protestant denominations in which they would feel at home. Let them try to find Salvation there. Just don't let them call themselves Catholic and don't let them pollute my Church with their heresy.

Etiam non princeps sed usque ad genua, Principis Pacis!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

Oh, here we go...

It's not about what followers of the catholic are doing personally, it is what the federal government is trying to force on a church.

Freeze the target.
Polarize it.

Now the libs are going straight after catholics trying to change the tone of the argument in their favor by means of personal attacks.

Exactly. I am not Catholic, but I am a Christian and if they get away with this, how long before they declare that a pastor preaching against homosexuality is committing a hate crime and then have him arrested?

And how many Jews eat lobster? It doesn’t matter how many fall short.

Absolutely. This is a fundamental, clear fight between those who believe rights are God given, and those that believe rights are State given. Those that believe the State grants rights either don’t understand or don’t care too, that what the State gives, the State can take away.

It is ironic. But women do talk about very personal stuff when they get together.

Most American Jews aren’t even considered Jewish by orthodox Jews in Israel.

It’s more Like Kiwanis.

I would add another point.

Why should health insurance pay for contraceptive devices for ANYONE?

The purpose of health insurance, like any other insurance, is to provide for emergencies. It makes absolutely no economic sense, let alone moral sense, for health insurance to pay for predictable, regular expenses. Bringing in the insurance companies for such expenses simply adds another layer of bureaucracy, and increases overall costs.

What is the point? It has nothing to do with HEALTH, anyway. If people choose to use contraceptives, let them buy them themselves. This makes no more sense than having a government program to buy people aspirin.

Yes, that is precisely the point, and why this issue is worth fighting now.

This a**hole isn’t seeking forgiveness. He is a heretic and should be treated as such until he seeks forgiveness.

Why should the first amendment not apply to her?

"Every Catholic woman I know about is using NATURAL birth control. IE the Rhythm method. Not contraceptives, Not IUDs, and Not disgusting Condoms and certainly Not sterilization."

Same here.
