Newborn babies in incubators among at least 100 killed today Three unarmed families murdered in their own homes Iran 'sends top commander to help co-ordinate crackdown' EU vows stronger sanctions
Rockets and mortars are raining down on the Syrian city of Homs for a fifth consecutive day today - with at least 100 civilians killed in what has become the bloodiest 24 hours yet.
President Bashar Assad continued his crackdown against anti-regime opposition - with activists saying security forces murdered three innocent families in their homes.
Eighteen premature babies, in incubators, were also said to have died after their hospital was struck by power cuts, the BBC reported. The brutal attacks came despite Assad promising Russia, which alongside China saved Damascus from UN Security Council action on Sunday, to put an end to the violence.
It followed British Prime Minister David Cameron's approval yesterday of plans designed to force Assad to quit - and prompted China to say Foreign Minister William Hague's criticism of Beijing's veto was 'extremely irresponsible.' Claims have also been made that a top Iranian commander has arrived in the country to help Assad manage his 'war-effort'.
Today, troops fired rockets and mortars on Homs, as tanks entered the Inshaat neighbourhood and moved closer to Bab Amro. It is the district hardest hit by bombardments that have killed at least 150 people in the last two days.

Would you like Olives stuffed with Blue Cheese in your Martini? How about that Super Bowl? Wasn't that Honda Commercial a riot? Do you buy your underwear where Moochelle does? Do you think Assad will call for some advice? I'm afraid his Optics aren't looking too good. Oh hello Professor Ayers. How are you this evening?
Gosh no!
Are soldiers coming in and taking babies out of the incubators? (false Gulf War I propaganda by the daughter of a Kuwaiti official before the US Congress, to help Bush I justify the war.)
This time it is to help Obama justify the Muslim Brotherhood taking over Syria
I was thinking the same thing-—btw, my readings tell me to expect a false flag operation in the Strait of Hormuz March 2. It will envolved the sinking of a US Ship and great loss of life. It will be blamed on Iran and away we go with thermo-nuclear war. It will be stopped after the eleites reach their goal of one billion dead. Cheery with breakfast eh?

The media hated the Shah. He got ousted and replaced by Khomeini.
The media hated Mubarak. He got ousted and replaced by the Muslim Brotherhood.
Assad is a bad man. There -- I said it. But he is secular. If he goes, the Islamic religious extremists will take power. I guess the media supports theocracy.
And oh by the way -- US involvement in Syria would provide a wonderful excuse for Iran to do the unthinkable. The media is stuck in a knee-jerk "I'll feel good about myself if I help chase this bad man away" mode.
We pursue childish policies under the Boy King.
“EU vows stronger sanctions”
Yeah, that will do the trick.
Only problem is those dead babies didn’t get a chance to wait for those stronger sanctions to do what they are supposed to do.
Hey, BIG MEDIA!!!!!
If ISRAEL “needs to defend itself BY itself”, then why the worry about Syria??
“Newborn babies in incubators among at least 100 killed today”
I seem to remember the same thing said about Kuwaiti babies after the Iraqi invasion.....and it was later found to be BS.
Makes me a little hesitant to trust similar stories from the same region.
Wow. If this isn’t an example of why we need to preserve our 2nd amendment rights, and our freedoms, I don’t know what else is.
Just had to say it ..it’s the unmentionable part of this story.
Let me add though that all is proceeding as planned
O was taking target practice after the report in preparation for battle,, uhh,, another fundraiser.
EXACTLY! And just like German soldiers in WWI,, laughing as they were throwing Belgian babies in the air,, and catching them on bayonets! This is such a classic propaganda story, that its laughable.
But I’m waiting to find a 66 Corvette,,, with 200 miles on it,, under a canvas in the garage. The guy bought it right as he was leaving for Vietnam,, and sadly, never made it home.
The incubator story is in the same category,,,,
“Should be lively topic of conversation at the Obama Wednesday Night Cocktail Party.”
Do you think it will occur to any of them that ‘preemies’ aren’t considered to be human beings in America, and are routinely killed by Planned Parenthood?
No backup power at the hospital? - odd
I just want to know one thing:
HOW on Earth did you manage to plant a bug in the White House Dinner Lounge?
Kudos to you! Share some more intel with us, lol
Spot on. End of story, end of involvement.
100% correct.
Syria also has a significant Christian community, who own a lot of property, and Syrian is also host to a large number of Iraqi Christian refugees, living on charity.
What will happen to them if these Saudi-backed extremists take over? They will be dispossed and killed. I suppose the Christian Iraqi refugees won't feel it as badly, having been dispossesed already, they only need to be killed.
