As a long-time supporter of Rick Santorum (ya’ll don’t laugh at my Rick Santorum sweater vest when it comes in), I’m anxious and optimistic. I decided long ago not to hold my nose this election cycle. I have been very proud of Rick.

As a side issue, some have been upset at Rick for his attacks on Gingrich. From reading some threads, some may get the idea that he has gone out of his way to single out Newt for criticism. Such is not the case. His primary target has been Romney. (Remember that it was Rick that devastated Romney on RomneyCare in the debates.)

No one has been more forceful than Rick in attacking Romney. For some delicious ads from Santorum attacking Romney, see the two following jewels:

“Ron Paul has created the first political movement that’s a natural home for the functionally mentally ill. The behavior of these people screams “cult members.””

They remind me uncomfortably of Lyndon LaRouche supporters, and I say uncomfortably because I have good friends, good family, and fellow church members all apparently in this trance.

I'm SO THRILLED that Romney is doing so BAD and pray this continues in EVERY state that remains. He would be AWFUL for this country.

I wish Newt was doing better!! My heart is for him....but, I am happy for Santorum.

OK, “show me” state, it’s time to show me something, show me anything, but whatever you show me, DON’T SHOW ME THE ROMNEY!

Can you imagine if the general election were held staggered like this in different states over 4 months time? Free Republic would melt down...

Keeping an eye on the “uncommitted” vote in MO.

6 percent. Since Newt is losing everywhere tonight it seems like it was a good idea that he not be on the ballot and make it a complete lost night.
