Newt Gingrich will stay in the Republican presidential nomination contest despite an expected loss to Mitt Romney in Saturdays Nevada caucuses, the former speaker told The Washington Times late Saturday afternoon.
We had excellent fundraising meetings and calls yesterday, Mr. Gingrich said. Super Tuesday and beyond look good.
The Georgia native thus dispelled rumors circulating in the press that his campaign had scheduled a press conference for late Saturday, after the results were in from the Nevada caucuses.
We will probably be a solid second here with [Rick] Santorum in last place, Mr. Gingrich said, while acknowledging indirectly that attracting donors and voters in sufficient force to overtake Mr. Romney will be a challenge in the coming weeks.

Write to the Chairman of the RNC and tell him you want Fla to abide by the rules and give Newt his share of the delegates. Rules are rules and they apply to Mitt in Fla just like they applied to Newt and Perry in VA
You mean a Saul Alinsky style campaign.
****************
papa Romney was an Alinsky fanboy, wasn’t he?
Of course turnout is down. RINOS always bring it down. THEY know this. But they keep running these arseholes anyway.
Really — do they not have ANYTHING better to do with their millions than waste them in this manner? They could pay off the national debt with Romney’s campaign spending!!
Hit em where it hurts....$$$$$$$$$ By sending two cents, It must be counted as a contribution, the numbers of requests you get will increase because they are computer generated. Costs them money....If we all did it, they might get the idea. They get our two cents and we get their attention.
We dealt with that attack over and over here at FR, when he was running.
email or snail-mail? Let me know and I will get on it!
Gay rights protesters in Minnesota threw glitter at Romney before he took the stage, making him the latest candidate to be “glittered” by activists opposed to his position on gay rights. Romney, who opposes gay marriage, put a positive spin on the sparkle in his hair.
“This is confetti! We just won Florida,” he said as he took the stage./
LOL The man is an idiot!
Actually speculation is that Romney would pick Christie for vp. He doesn’t care about conservatives. He’s trying to get through this onerous process so he can move on to ‘moderates’ and liberals. He’s only talking conservative because that’s what the moment requires.
Lil’ feller you have always been a paulretard.
anyone wanting the address or a link to Newt’s donation site ask. Don’t want to spam the thread with the t shirt.
Okay, I’ll send two cents along with the coupon. They deserve a good thrashing.
Ha ha! That’s giving ‘em our 2 cents worth...that and a letter demanding they uphold the very rules they (RNC) devised...regarding FL.
He didn’t oppose homosexual marriage in Massachusetts. He’s responsible for it. The liar.
Look at the dress of the people in the crowd. hint hint.
What Newt and Santorum should do is start talking jobs. Romney’s business experience is not going to worth crap at a national level. What’s he going to do if finds out it’s worse than he thought, close us down?
And Romney said he’d repeal Obamacare in the debates but when Sean asked him he said he’d grant waivers to all 50 states. Obama has granted a boatload of waivers but Obamacare is alive and well.
For God’s sake, can’t these candidates start hitting on the issues? Before it’s too late?
I donated to Newt this week, FR is next week—Newt will have to wait another round :p
Same here...Wish I was rich instead of so dern good looking ;~)
But I can still spread the word here and in my community and hope that some others donate, creating more in Newt’s war chest.
There is a tab if you follow contact at the bottom on Newt.org where you can donate other than money....time, passing out material etc.
Glitteratti
CNN just showed Romneys people chanting for him and Blitzer said many of them were LDS. Shows who will be running the WH if (God forbid) he wins.
I don't think this is really an attack, more of an observation. I certainly didn't like what I was seeing because Thompson was the only guy I could get excited about. But I don't deny what I see just because it goes against what I would like to see.
