A hacker group known as Anonymous took responsibility Friday for defacing a website and stealing files and emails from attorneys who represented Camp Pendleton's Frank Wuterich in a case involving the deaths of 24 Iraqi civilians.
Wuterich's lead attorney, Neal Puckett, confirmed the intrusion and apparent theft from him and his partner, Haytham Faraj.
....Snip....
Puckett said he has filed a complaint with the FBI over the hacking.
The group that got into his website says it plans to release information it found about the Haditha case. Puckett said he is equally concerned about the theft and possible release of confidential matters between the attorneys and all their clients.

Haditha Marines Ping.
Gotta wonder who did it.
Anonymous is getting out of hand. They somehow got a FBI conference call also.

The Bradley Manning Fan Club. Bunch of fairies.
They were very busy today. They also hit the Boston PD...
I agree! I’m a techie, and I follow IT security very closely. It seems to me like they’re hacking to show everyone that they can and no one’s safe.
It’s sad, really.
“It seems to me like theyre hacking to show everyone that they can and no ones safe.”
They love to wave their little weenies in everyone’s face.
It’s part of a coordinated effort to destabilize law enforcement (local, state, and federal), IT security, and political organizations.
World War III is coming sooner rather than later, and I’d bet the catalyst will be leaked data from some government or law enforcement entity somewhere in the world. It’s coming. Storm clouds are roiling.
They can release anything they like, the man has been found not guilty and cannot be tried twice.
Personal information. This could be very bad.
It’s being reported that this is “300 GB of emails and other communications”!!! This little Dell desktop of mine maxes out at 80 GB on the hard drive, IIRC.
That is one huge file!

I wouldn’t be surprised if Holder was having the in-Justice department assisting these hackers. They are attacking instutitions that Obama wants destroyed to insure the communization of this country.
I’m computer illiterate and won’t even think about downloading something like that, gonna leave it up to you experts. :-)
Opening files at random—there are so many. Nothing I’ve opened so far is related to Frank. Everything so far has to do with other cases and office business.
I'm not downloading it either. I'm not even sure my system could handle it.
I just hope the perps are rounded up. They're thieves and should be treated as such.
>> Its being reported that this is 300 GB of emails and other communications!!!
I’d say that’s digging a little deeper than just the ‘website’.
It does not surprise me a bit this happened.
The talk of the iraqi’s mounting a civil lawsuit against Frank makes me think that may be the reason behind this.
Trying to steal information to get that rolling.
There are some iraqi’s with money to spend. I mean, after all, we GAVE it to them.
