It’s convenient to have a candidate like Gingrich who attracts the unserious, the unpresidential, the uninformed and the unpalatable all in one convenient locale. It saves the time and effort needed to determine who is a credible Republican and who is not (Gingrich supporters). The move is yet another boost for Rick Santorum, who definitely is in the category of responsible and credible candidates (whatever you think of his views) and has been struggling to wean the base off its attraction to Gingrich.

It's getting where there is nowhere to find solid conservative thought anymore. Rush is little more than an entertainer at this point, and while I believe Mark Levin is rock solid, at the end of a long diatribe he says, "but I'm still going to vote for whoever our candidate is, even if its Romney."
True conservatives have one alternative it seems (well, besides Free Republic, of course) and that is get out of the way. Even rock solid Tea Party people seem to be swept along by all of this. Oh well, for me nothing has changed...

They have been living in their elitist north east DC bubble world and have no clue how we have to count pennies, to go without etc.
I think what we have is conservatives around the country spread out and many feel boxed in by their big mouth liberal pals, neighbors workers etc so therefore they stay silent on such issues like marriage etc.

I even hate to use google...what a messed up mess we are in...bet if all the conservatives lived in ONE state..that state would be a success IF they could keep the govt OUT of their lives...I am done with Fox and drudge.
