There will be no Fifth Amendment Theater tomorrow of the Phoenix US Attorneys being forced to say their I-don't-wannas in front of the cameras, Mike Vanderboegh of Sipsey Street Irregulars files in an exclusive report today from Washington, DC.
There will be only one panel of one -- Eric Holder. This is viewed by many who have been following the investigation as a serious mistake. Said one, "More simple browbeating of Eric Eric Holder without dramatic new evidence to impeach his story is going to look petty, mean and impotent.
Perhaps. After all, House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Darrell Issa has pledged We are still going to bring him forward in response to Chief of the Criminal Division in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Arizona Patrick Cunninghams decision to invoke his right not to self-incriminate after being subpoenaed to testify. And Issa has further demanded Justice stop blocking testimony from Cunningham underling Michael Morrissey. Advertisement
Compound this with a return shot from Committee Democrats attempting to absolve their administration allies, an outraged response from Sen. Chuck Grassley of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and yesterdays stunning, knives-are-out ultimatum by Issa to charge stonewalling Attorney General Eric Holder with contempt of Congress, and it would appear an opportunity to show the American people an ongoing cover-up happening before their eyes may be lost.
And perhaps not. Again, per Vanderboegh:

ROFL
“and there fore have no right to “Privacy” in their Official Capacities.”
?????????
The 5th Amendment is all about not being compelled to give self incriminating evidence. At least in my copy of the Constitution it is. Privacy has nothing to do with it.
Dem Quigly: “After six hearings...”
Drink!
Public Officials (answering official-duties questions) should not be allowed 5th amend. rights in court. - thats just my fix for this....
Meehan rubbing Holder’s nose in his own policies & procedures ..... Holder is, at best, grossly incompetent.
PLEASE HOLD HIM IN CONTEMPT.
Hopefully for not too freaking much longer.
I’ve lost faith in holder, who is he trying to fool?
“who is he trying to fool?” ........ Anybody and everybody. Strangely, many of us are not fooled.
Did you ever have any faith in him to start with? I should hope not.
Six trips to the committee, because he refuses to comply with legally issued and legally binding subpoenas. This man has absolutely no business holding his current job.
Contempt citation, followed by impeachment proceedings.
Rep Issa: “I HOPE that you read the subpoenas that come to you with your name on it.”
slap, slap.
Love it!
Can someone explain why Holder is allowed to decide what evidence is seen or not?
And is it me or is Holder full of crap????? Who is buying his schtick??
All I can say, is go get him Issa!!!!! He seems to be the ONLY one really ripping into Holder, whereas everyone else is just throwing softball questions or accusations out there.
Did he just say we have EIGHT people in the DOJ in charge of Congressional requests and media requests?
Only 8? -— or did I mishear?
And why would media requests be lumped in with Congressional requests, as if they were the same priority?
IIRC, Issa has said that if documents under subpoena are not produced, a contempt citation will be forthcoming.
Why is Owen Wilson asking Holder questions?
And why is he sitting in Rep Gowdy’s chair?
Ok, I take back my last statement....Mr. Gowdy seems to be doing a great job of laying into Holder. But I am getting really annoyed that Holder keeps talking AROUND the issue and denying he knew anything.
He DID know...they HAVE the FACTS that he DID know. WTF more do they need to convict this LIAR!!??!
During the recess, Gowdy is going at it with one of Holder’s cronies.
And Issa is looking like Michael Scott from the Office at that table lol.
