That’s what it sounds like. I’ve always thought Santorum was hand in glove with Romney anyway. Santorum’s anti-Newt ads in Iowa were quite vicious, btw.

This is just plain wrong. He praises Newt's leadership. They are showing clips on Special report of him doing so. Knock this off, Rick.

When Newt orchestrated the great republican revolution many gop candidates were swept into office...Santorum was ONE. Look, Santorum has been given a free pass by the media, by Romney by Newt by the establishment and he is still polling low. Makes me wonder why he is staying in? have a feeling he is playing up to Romney.

When you look on their stand on most issues, there’s really little difference between Romney and Gingrich although Newt is far worse on amnesty.

Little wimp snake in the grass doing some of Romney's dirty work, is the vision I have right now.
Pack it up Rick and take your dweeb sweater with you.

If Newt can’t take the heat from Republicans running against him, he sure won’t make it against the Dems.
Gut up or get out.

Why is Rick zeroing in on Newt? If he is really interested in the Presidency should he not be going after the front runner with being Mitt? Should we be questioning where Rick got his new found cash from? This whole thing does not pass the smell test. Sounds like we are being “played”.

Romney is the man that Santorum wanted for President in 2008, this year he is running to block Newt.
I don’t see anything surprising, Santorum has no future in elective politics and seems to be earning an appointment job from Romney, or the GOP establishment.

Rather than getting in the Republican fray Newt should start putting out excellent ads against Obama. This would not only be beneficial in taking down Obama but would cause him to raise to the top of the pack because it will say that it is he that is Obama’s true foe. This would therefore say that it is he that is naturally the right Republican candidate. It could cause him to raise to the top like cream.

You have to be kidding me. This is beyond anything I have ever seen. Romney is tattletaling to the voters that Newt didn’t call him. Santorum is bypassing Romney regarding being outspent and points the finger at Gingrich. Media wants to talk about Newts anger. Think they are a little worried?

I don't comment on Santorum very often, but I must say that I increasingly find him coming across like a very unlikeable prig.

Well Santorum just revealed he wants to take over Newts 2ND PLACE position or he would have gone after Romney
I had some hope for him but no more

"Is Santorum really saying that Romney is more conservative than Newt?"
Well, isn't that a coincidence. Romney says the same thing, and Hillary's swing voters support both of 'em.

Well there's a winning strategy. Go after the second place guy who lost to the first place guy by 15%.
Maybe Santorum isn't as sharp as people give him credit for.
Up to this point I thought it just wasn't his time. Looks like he is trying to prove my theory.
