An advisor to Donald Trump says he will make a major announcement in Las Vegas tomorrow. Sources tell the 8 News NOW I-Team Trump will endorse Newt Gingrich.

It would be good if Trump endorsed Gingrich AND threatened a third-party run if Romney got the RINO nomination.

Trump may planning to go 3rd party if mittens gets the nomination. I think a lot of people would vote for Donald if he campaigns from the right. One would think that this should force mittens to right as well. Such a race would be surreal with Mittens and Trump acusing each other of being on the Left.
I sure hope that Trump is serious in supporting newt, but I won’t be convinced until Donald gets out the checkbook in a serious way.
But if we don’t support Mittens as the Nominee, then its the same thing as Trump running 3rd party.

I’ve always felt Trump wanted to be King Maker more than Potus (couldn’t afford the cut in pay!) But I also figured he’d hold the threat of running as a 3rd party candidate over the RNCs head. Now, maybe he’s got a different strategery.

Before even hearing this . . . I was thinking while watching The Five and they were talking about “billionaires” that wouldn’t it be nice IF The Donald sent Newt some money. Wonder who the Koch brothers will be backing?

For some reason I have the feeling “The Donald” considers “Mittens” kind of a punk and REALLY doesn’t like him.
What a difference a few months make . According to a vast majority of Freepers , Trump was a “ NY liberal “ blah blah blah and attacked him left and right . Now that he is going to endorse Gingrich he’s a hero . This place is getting crazier and crazier every day .

I won’t hold it against Newt. He can’t help who endorses him.
If so, I hope Rove and company have enough money. Running two vicious advertising mud slinging at both Newt and Trump (potential 3rd party if Mitt gets the nomination) could be very expensive.

What a surrogate TRUMP will make, he don't pull any punches, calls a spade a spade,and he will vocally crush Romney. Trump is not afraid of anything or anyone.
