Lets say, hypothetically, for just a moment here, that some of the pundits are right that Romneys landslide victory in Florida means he really might be inevitable.
Ive heard more than a few of you Newt and Paul supporters out there; If Romney wins, Im staying home on election day.
While Im not especially passionate about Romney just yet, Ill reiterate what an awful idea this is. Dont go there, people.
Ive got ten suggestions for much more-productive responses.

If Romney goes up against 0bama you can take to the bank that the occupy group will be out full force and 100X more so than before, plus it will be nice and warm out and it will be class warfare to the end!
As God as my witness I will never vote for Romney!

Ideally, nobody should ever have to fear to vote his first choice, at least on a first ballot, and nobody should ever hold any public office with less than 50% of the vote. But we dont live in an ideal world yetNever did, going back to the early elections with Adams and Jefferson smearing each other. Worst system in the world, except for all the others.

Wonder if the same Mitch Berg referred to Newt's similar victory margin in South Carolina as a "landslide"? Me thinks not. Mitch, by and large, isn't a Romney fan. His blog, Shot In The Dark, is usually quite good.
However, he's not right all the time. Unlike us :)

I am hoping the twisted logic that would bring Obama back for another four years is confined to a small but rabidly vocal group here.
This election, given the Chicago-style efforts of Obama, has little enough chance to defeat him no matter who runs, without a bunch of kids taking their ball and going home if they don’t get their way in the primary. And this will likely be the last free election of a once free country if Obama does win - he and the powers behind him will see to that. Holding both houses of Congress will do nothing more than the Maginot Line in WWII to stop his tyranny.

Let Romney go down in flames. He will pick Rubio to get the Hispanic vote but we are in serious trouble if Romney is elected.
God help this country. It is run by a puppetmaster who controls both sides.

I would rather have the devil I know for 4 years than the devil who is not a conservative for 8 years. You think you know that devil in the White House? Just wait. if he's re-elected, he will no longer have anything holding him back because he won't have to worry about running for re-election.

Are you going to wear a veil to cover your noseless face?
We don't back or vote for Progressive Liberals like Mitt whether they have an "R" next to their name or a "D".
If Romney is the nominee, a good part of us will look elsewhere for a POTUS candidate.
Don't put the GOP-E line here.
Take it elsewhere.
To: C19fan
Don’t stay home. Go vote for the most conservative Congress or Senate candidate you possibly can.
I friggin can’t stand Mitt Romney and will not vote for him. Ever.

I will crawl across glass to vote againt 0Bama. By the way . . .I plan to vote Gingrich or Santorum when my state has its primary . . .so dont label me as a liberal.
If you are willing to vote for a candidate, Mitt, who is still supporting his RomneyCare (Socialized Medicine) that still contains easy access to $50 abortions, then yes, I'm calling a spade a spade.
You sir are a liberal.
To: C19fan
One thing I will not do is stay home on Election Day. another thing I will not do is vote for Romney.
If he’s so damned “electable” then he doesn’t need one more lousy vote for me.

Don't care.
The line in the sand has been drawn.
If the liberal progressive Mitt Romney is the nominee, the GOP has moved to far to the left for me to vote for the GOP POTUS candidate.
If you keep allowing the GOP-E to set the rules and the ultimate candidate by caving to their manipulations of the process, you'll keep getting the crappy candidates they prop up.
Rebellion is brewing!
The GOP has declared war on the Tea Party and we don't intend to surrender!

fruser1: “Boehner will fight Obama, he will not fight Romney.”
That is a very, very important point. Romney will (likely) work with moderate Republicans and Democrats to pass a center left agenda. That’s how he governed. With Romney, we’d have a center left coalition opposing the right. Shoot. That’s already happened on some legislation. Boehner has had to rely on Democrat votes against more conservative Republicans. Is there any evidence whatsoever that Romney would stand up to Democrats? None that I know of. I’d rather have power split than RINO/Democrat cooperation under a centrist presidency.
