I honestly believe that if Newt dropped out right now and endorsed Santorum, Santorum would do better against Romney in the rest of the primaries than vice-versa.

Yes, Obama must be beaten in 2012. Too much at state for our country. The supreme court really worries me.
I would love to see Newt as president, but every indication is he would lose big to Obama in the fall. There will be a parade of women coming forward accusing him of affairs and harassment. And it will stick based on his so called personal past. That is why integrity matters. Romney may not beat Obama, but I believe he is the best option to do so.
Newt has some large structural issues to overcome now. It’s more than losing Florida. Mitt proved himself in Florida, and all the key players will not align with him pretty quickly. And one final thing.... Sarah Palin, you are my favorite conservative. But you have probably done more to hurt Newt than to help.

Knock it off with the “we all need to unite” garbage. We’ve seen it before. The establishment spends millions smearing a conservative. When it becomes clear that the establishment candidate will get the nomination the “unite” bs starts. If the conservative does happen to pull it out the establishment deems him/her “extreme”, and says they won’t vote for him/her. I’ve seen it many many times. Establishment backstabbing has been going on my entire life.

IF Romney is the nominee, I have decided that if, and ONLY IF, there is convincing evidence that my single vote is needed to defeat Obama in my state, then I will vote for the Mormon. Otherwise, I am leaving the Presidential line blank.
I think a genuine Palin endorsement of Gingrich would actually hurt him. People have no concept of how loathed Palin is, even among a lot of Republicans, and people that support Romney now are not people that would be affected by a Palin endorsement.
