AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

I can’t believe there are still people who live in such a shell that they expect people to live in marriages that lack love. Life is short...

Did they vote for McLame in the primary or the general? I didn’t vote for McLame in the primary; but did in the general, however, I had objections to his “lifestyle choices”. (And his daughter. And his liberal stances.)

Actually, McLame and Gingrich remind me a lot of one another. I wouldn’t support either one in a primary; but in a general, if I’m stuck, then I will swallow my objections and tow the Party line.

I’m not sure. It’s a warm sunny day so it wasn’t weather related. I called in to report the outage and the lady said that about 260 homes were without power but they didn’t yet know the cause. We have lots of construction going on around here so that may have played a part in it.

because ‘seeking love’ endangers the life of women

hpv causes cervical cancer

condoms do not protect against it

with or without love

I’m a little sick of hearing Rush talk about his undecided politics on the FL vote.

I haven't been able to listen today, but...

What happened to all the years where Limbaugh railed against the "undecided voter?"

What happened to all the arguments that "moderates" and "independents" were a cop-out, and that people should know their core beliefs by now?

For a guy who insists he doesn’t like to talk about himself, sometimes he just won’t stop...that’s when I reach for the radio knob.

So that’s why Rush won’t stick his neck out on these elections. He’s afraid of not choosing the winner. “THAT CROWD”? He sounds a bit like Ann Coulter.

NH primary. These women rail on Newt for his 'indiscretions', and justifiably so; but they voted for McCain, and didn't seem to have a problem with his background. I'm going to try to follow the logic next time we cross paths...

I can’t believe there are still people who live in such a shell that they expect people to live in marriages that lack love.

Sure - when the flames of the initial passion have died down, why try to move the marriage into a more lasting phase when you can just start over with a new spouse and a new passion - and repeat as necessary?

If I thought perpetual adolescence was a positive quality in a president, I'd have voted for Bill Clinton.

Do you really want a man to stay with your out of obligation? I’d rather he want to stay..not have to stay.

He’s been amazingly boring today. I wonder if his show is going to be this boring until we have a nominee. Phew, I’ll have to listen to Preger.

Dear God....he just told that caller he’s NEVER seen Mitt look sweaty at a debate (funny, I’ve seen it more than once). And now he says he doesn’t think Romney supports abortion—it’s news to him. Rush is NOT that dense. He’s twisting himself into pretzels trying to stay neutral, and I’ve almost reached my limit.

Yeah, so many of the talk show hosts tell us (even tho’ we know it) how this is the most important election in our lifetime, maybe ever-—America as it was founded is at stake-—and then they won't commit to whoever they believe should be the next president...

Speak up and commit. Your influence may save the country.
