I don't find his strategy to be all that odd. After all, Nevada is where that brothel that endorsed him earlier this month is located, so it would seem that he's just playing to his base...

Anyone heard a recording and/or seen a video of Dr. Paul doing an evil laugh? If there hasn’t been one already, I feel that one is coming soon.

Correct. Plus it is a lot cheaper to campaign in caucus states than in primary states, particularly the smaller caucus states. Personal contacts, organization and a committed base mean a lot more here than in big primary states like Florida which require a heavy investment in media buys.

Ron Paul can guarantee a good showing just by concentrating his campaign message on college kids and those working in cat houses.

“During January, [the brothel owner] said he was offering a special — two bunnies for the price of one, the Web site said. All a client has to do is come by and say ‘I’m pimping for Paul.’”

what ever it takes to block romney at the convention from having a majority of delegates is what we must do. This baby killing liar, socialized medicine, Rockefeller liberal must be run out of our party. I’m sick of this game,Vote anyone but romney.

Just for fun, I looked up the 2008 GOP Caucus Results for Nevada.

Ron Paul got 14% overall and carried one county, Nye, which is the home country of Harry Reid.

I don’t think Ron Paul expects to get the nomination, but instead, is gobbling up delegates in all the caucus states in order to be a “power-broker” at the Convention in Tampa.

It’s a great strategy if your goal is to screw up the Republicans. He knew he could never win. He just wanted to help his buddies the Democrats.

And to raise a lot of money for his pals along the way. Last time he had 5 million bucks left over to donate to his group.

Not surprising. He had the same strategy in 2008. At the very least, they are going to have to give him a speaking spot at the convention.

Which is why I'm not big on joining the calls for Santorum to drop out. If it comes down to a Romney/Gingrich slugfest at the convention, which would you really rather have holding the handful of delegates necessary to put one or the other over the top? Ron Paul? Or Rick Santorum?

Makes sense to me. He won't win FL and that's a winner take all state. Why bother with it?

I'm not a Paul fan, but I wouldn't call him "stupid", either.

Ron Paul believes in:
not getting entangled in foreign wars,
requiring a Declaration of War before we go to war, individual civil liberties and personal freedoms,
no debt,
a US dollar backed by gold, and
not letting the federal government do anything that is not specifically specified in the U.S. Constitution.

Crazy thoughts!!! What a real oddball!! What kind of people actually believes in those things?

not letting the federal government do anything that is not specifically specified in the U.S. Constitution.

Interesting...I don't see anything in the Constitution authorising federal taxpayer monies going to build recreational fishing piers in Ron Paul's district, which is just one of the many earmarks that Captain Pork has inserted into appropriations spending over the last two years.

He also believes that we only have enemies because we make them mad at us.

That is a suicidal belief.

Ron Paul’s constituents get millions if not billions of dollars extorted in federal taxes. I see no conflict in simultaneously denounceing the federal bohemoth and taking back as much of the extorted money as possible.
