I’m hearing Curry Leonard, Florida State Republican Chairman saying the person who spends the most money on media outlets, wins Florida. I hope he is proven wrong.

I don’t think Rush will do anything to promote Newt over the others. Sarah isn’t coming out strongly in favor of Newt, either. She needs to come out boldly. Michael Reagan is with Newt today in Florida.

I hope your message makes a difference with Sarah.

Jim - if Mitt steals this thing will YOU run third party for us under the Conservative banner? We aren’t EVER going to vote for Mitt anyway. Lets at least make a statement.

Just posted a variation of this on Sarah facebook page. We need multiple contacts to Sarah, Rush, Rick, FL teaparty people etc.

Here's the starting message I'm using:

Since Florida is a winner take all state and
Since Rick Santorum is home with his family, and
Since the number of people supporting Willard is much less than the combination of Newt+Rick’s total

Can we make the suggestion that in Florida the Santorum backers cast their vote for the conservative candidate that can win, Newt.

We are not asking Paul or Rick to drop out their participation in the debates and collection of delegates in states where that is possible in valuable for the vetting process. We just ask them to support Newt in Florida.

If Rush/Sarah/Rick/FR/teaparty others could get this message out (Not Newt it would sound desperate)it would easily put Newt over the top in FL.

We need more of this from the Reagan era and less of the Obama/Romney BS.

Close reponse to the most conservative achievement was posted by tsowellfan on your thread Friday with further info below.

The scary part is he was asked this question in a debate (the one before the last). I think it was “what have you done for the conservative movement?”

Romney answered: I got married, had a family and started a business.

Now that’s the most pathetic answer I’ve ever heard!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
However, near the end of the debate, when he was asked about his accomplishments for the conservative movement, Mitt’s answer was embarrassingly bad. He started out by mentioning that he had been married, moved on to noting that he had started a business, and then noted several unimpressive things he’d done in Massachussetts, none of which was “Romneycare.” Santorum could have given a good answer to that question, just as Paul could have and Newt has a better pedigree than anyone alive, which he recited when he was given a chance to talk.
Mitt, on the other hand, sounded like Megan McCain trying to explain why she earned her job as a columnist. Not only was Mitt’s answer a tremendous turn-off to conservatives, it goes back to his core problem:
Why should Republicans want to specifically see Mitt Romney in the White House? Nobody seems to have a really good answer to that question other than his business experience, which didn’t make much of a difference when he was governor of Massachusetts.
And nothing to bring more conservative values to MA when governor. Au contraire ...
On friday jan 27, Rush went almost 3 hours vs romney and I expect the same thing monday and tuesday 30/31. Sarah has done almost all she can do including her fox tv appearances. Newt can blame himself for the pathetic debate peformances. Is there enough time for the florida voters to wake up?
“P.S. Rick Santorum is a great guy and a God fearing pro-life conservative, but he doesn’t stand a prayer of a chance in Florida, and he admits that. Florida is a winner take all state. Don’t let the GOP-e RINO Mitt Romney have those 50 delegates. Rick Santorum should immediately release his supporters in Florida to vote for Newt as Rick Perry did in South Carolina. And his supporters should do that either way.”
Mr. Robinson is right Senator Santorum. God bless you senator, but letting Romney win in Florida is a big mistake.
IF Romney wins the GOP nod, it is the absolute end of the Reagan legacy. Maoral conservatives like myself will have to find another home. I WILL NOT vote for Romney in a general election anymore than I would Obama.
What I don’t understand is why the “leaders” of the GOP as so out of touch with its base? They are going to lose it. I’m sick of voting for what some party insider picks for me.
Ms. Coulter - Are you paying attention...or am I just another of those persons in an angry “mob” as you characterized the voters of S.C.?
I'm frankly getting a little tired of Rush's crap. Some days he goes out of his way to avoid giving Newt any kudos, but will express regret about Perry opting to quit the Primary (And no, I have nothing against Perry). As others have mentioned, if this is such a defining moment in the history of this country; if we run the possibility of losing to obama, and thus losing the country, why won't Rush get off his arse and support the person who's espousing these Conservative ideals in the most strong fashion?
I used to get excited about tuning Rush in everyday, but as of late, I almost cringe listening to him. He seems more animated about his freakin' Iced Tea than he does the country. I'm so glad I'm not the only person who feels this way.
Gingrich could be an “A-” President.
Romney would be an “F-” President.
Great to see someone with the platform you have use it this way. Rush’s “fair and balanced” act is dangerous.
When he was governor in Massachusetts, Romney formally endorsed a "Gay Youth Pride" day at a middle school. He used his political office to celebrate and encourage the open embrace of homosexuality among children not even old enough to drive. And, with his state-wide mandated health care plan, he allowed cheap and easy tax-payer funded abortions to be included.
Both those actions were and are craven, depraved, and wicked.
If, God forbid, Romney got the GOP nomination, millions of God-loving Americans, in order to vote "against" Obama, would be faced with having to vote FOR a man, Mitt Romney, who nourished such manifest evil.
Voters in Florida who would do the Godly thing will vote FOR Newt Gingrich this Tuesday to help prevent such a thing from ever coming to pass. True "conscience" voters must and will see this truth.
Those who think Romney is a "lesser" evil than Obama are kidding themselves. He is fully as depraved.
God bless Jim Robinson and GODSPEED NEWT GINGRICH.
Do not allow the GOP-e to shove its establishment elite statist Mitt Romney down our throats!!
The GOP isn't in control. Each state sets its own rules for elections and have a primary or caucus. Voters decide the nominee. This should be an open letter to conservatives to vote.
Most public figures don't want to push a candidate during primaries because it makes them look weak when their candidate loses.
