Sarah Palin,

Genuine Conservatives and Tea Partiers are doing everything we can to stop Mitt Romney's acension ...

But ... Sarah ... "We Need Your Help" !

Please don't wait for a (possible) Romney Florida win ... to decide to OFFICIALLY endorse Newt Gingrich ... TODAY ...

Just as the The Duke of Wellington was saved at Waterloo from Napoleon's probable victory when the Prussians came to Wellington's battlefield rescue ... at 5:00 PM in the afternoon ... when Wellington was on the BRINK of DEFEAT ...

It's YOUR TURN to play the role of Layfayette and come to George Washington's aid ...

and DEFEAT Mitt Romney NOW ...

"May God and His Angels Guard Your Sacred Throne, and Make You Long Become It ...."

Henry V, Act I, Scene I

Best Regards,

Patton-at-Bastogne

How can she endorse when she still plans to run?

I agree that it’s time for influential conservatives to get out in front and lead. I can’t tell from day to day if Rush is bashing Newt or defending him. Palin’s coy defense of Newt while insisting that she is not endorsing, I think is worse than saying nothing at all as it has folks wondering why.

If we end up with Romney or Obama, there is going to be a lot of blame to go around when we have an expereiced fighter right here ready to go and we can’t get the support we need.

Agreed.

This entire race could be turned on its head overnight if Palin actually, specifically endorsed Gingrich (what’s she going to do after yesterday, endorse Romney??), and Santorum were to stand down and throw his support strongly to Newt.

Now would be the time for both of those.

The game would change. Tea would be enjoyed across the fruited plains.

America the beautiful, would rise once again, from socialist stupor.

While I believe Palin’s endorsement is meaningless I think she thinks so too, but her fans need her to come to the front on these issues because it is thought it would be a game changer.

Triangulating is the new chic. Everybody is doing it and we all know by now exactly who that helps. Sarah looks a little silly endorsing state by state, week after week, but never declaring she is endorsing.

I think we have seen this play before somewhere. Just my 2 cents.

Facts are stubborn things. She had a significant effect on Newt's victory in the SC primary. Did you miss it? It was one of the bigger political stories lately. So yes, she would likely add a couple percentage points to Newt's tally in FLA. You say “look away”, I say to you “look at” the facts. Then you'll be apprised of all the current events stumblebummer. You thought she'd be irrelevant by now and it burns you, that's obvious.

At the risk of agreeing with hg (at least in part), I must admit to having placed too much hope/confidence in Sarah.

There are two relatively old(er) guys out there daily vying for the nomination, both of whom have families that they love just as dearly, and both of whom seem to be handling it all pretty well in spite of the adversity involved. Given the historic alignment of circumstances, momentum, and personal drive that propelled Sarah to head of the list of TeaParty favorites, her decision not to run was both disappointing and perplexing.   Rarely do the political stars align in such a way as they aligned for her to become the first POTUS.

In light of the successful coping of the above mentioned 'seniors' in this ugly political climate, and even more so of our Founders - all of them with precious loved ones, all of them putting themselves under sentence of hanging in their support of our Revolution - Sarah's rationale for pulling out falls rather flat, imho.

There's no more a magic cocoon back home in Alaska than anywhere out on the campaign trail, should some loon be sufficiently motivated for whatever kind of mischief.  Since withdrawing, she seems to be playing it too coy by half, contractual obligations with FauxNooz notwithstanding.

Then again, maybe there's 'A Brilliant Plan' in operation under the radar and I'm just too dense to see it . . .

Her endorsing the sun rising in the east does not cause it to do so.

So yes, she would likely add a couple percentage points to Newt's tally in FLA.

Then she needs to get on it. What seems to be the hold-up?

Then you'll be apprised of all the current events stumblebummer.

Oh, my. Name-calling. High-level stuff going on here.

What’s the hold-up? Who knows hg, my point is that she would have an effect and everyone realizes this. She is probably already positively affecting his poll numbers in FLA for all we know. It’s FLA, the state with very close elections so, yes, Sarah is looming larger than anyone ese I can think of on the primary scene. Who’s having more of an effect than her personally?

Would.

Yes, maybe. Even likely. If she would.

Yet she does not. She plays cutesy with hints and sashays around the issue.

We don't need that kind of crap drama right now.

The point the caller made to Rush was that he is a Floridian and will vote on Tuesday and he likely has made up his mind who he will vote for, so why not tell the American people now when it will make a difference in his state of residency. On Sarah Palin - - She could do another S. Carolina for next Tuesday by saying if she was a Floridian she would be voting for Newt.

Unless someone else jumps into the race there is no candidate that the Tea Party can support without reservation.

Dreams of having a strong conservative nominee are history.

We are still 10 months from the general election and already reduced to selecting a candidate to support based on which one is the least objectionable any particular week.

Florida is a strange case.

With the polls changing from day to day, first Romney , then Gingrich leading.
but already with their early voting, many who may have voted for Gingrich in the last few days may have already voted for Romney last week.

Eraly voting is not good in this respect.

I have sent Rick S. an e-mail asking him to step down or forever be blamed for the destruction of America. That is the way I feel. If Newt loses, it will be R.S.’s fault. He will be responsible for the fall of America.
