As Ben Domenech notes in his Transom, Mitt Romney’s advisors have now advised him to support “a $2 gas tax, a VAT, and open Taliban talks.” Add to that list not repealing Obamacare. Norm Coleman, an advisor to Romney, went on record saying
We’re not going to do repeal. You’re not going to repeal Obamacare… It’s not a total repeal… You will not repeal the act in its entirety, but you will see major changes, particularly if there is a Republican president… You can’t whole-cloth throw it out.
With every passing day, Romney is looking more and more like the worst Republican candidate EVER. That’s why the media loves him so much.
If he gets the nomination, it will be a case of pick your poison. There’s no real difference between him and Obama.
It may happen.....Santorum is on the right side of the issues.
It’s been said many times that given the choice between a real Democrat and a faux Democrat, the voters that are so inclined will vote for the real Democrat every time.
That’s why Romney will lose to Obama.
Just realize when Obamacare really kicks in it will be cheaper for your employer to pay a fine for not providing healthcare than it will be to provide your healthcare. The same people that don't pay taxes now and complain about the rich will have their healthcare for free or with a big subsidy. The middle class will be crushed.
Ya see, this is what will happen if Romney is elected. You will get a Taxachusetts Moderate in the WH.
I keep feeling conflicted on what to do if Romney is the nominee. On one hand, I fully expect one of his first acts when he gets in office would be to totally betray conservatives and throw his support behind ObamaCare. On the other hand, he might replace several of the radical leftist Obama appointees on the regulatory agencies with mere liberals, which would be a slight improvement.
Of course, I also know he would likely commit some kind of fraudulent money-making government scheme to help out his Mormon leadership friends and his buddies from Harvard. He would then resign in disgrace ala Nixon. However, Obama is no doubt currently doing similar things, like Solyndra for instance, and the one upside with Romney is that, as a Republican, he would certainly get outed by the media as soon as the left no longer had any more use for him. So at least someone would finally get punished for being a crook. And that would just be entertaining as hell.

Romney is still clinging to the “repeal” line as of the debate but this report made me wonder how long he will and whether it’s another case of the infamous liar Romney.
What I don’t understand is why the heck Romney wants to be President. It can’t be for the salary. He’s got no positions or programs or politics that he is absolutely committed to - those change with the polls.
What the hell does he want the job for?
All I can think is that he’s planning to do for the US what Bain did for American corporations - split it up, sell off big chunks of it, maybe lease out the national parks and lands, the monuments and art, privatize everything, and simply get rid of it all. He’s probably going to make even MORE billions.
He’ll be paid by those he is working for to be President. He is there to protect Obama and ObamaCare and other NWO agenda’s. He will be paid a lot. They either want Obama or Romney in, that way they can stop a real American from bringing any change.
I just heard that blond-headed bimbo Florida AG, the Willard supporter, on Gretta Susteren. First Rush came on and said there is no difference at all in ObamaCare and RomneyCare. Then the Willard supporter went over a few “differences” the plans have. She goes on to say that WHEN ROMNEY BECOMES PRESIDENT, she will working on a task-force to implement a version of RomneyCare for ALL THE STATES.
So there will be no getting rid of ObamaCare. Romney would just call it RomneyCare, but ORDER the states to come up with socialized medicine, or a pay a fine.
Anybody that votes for this shyster SOB, when he has surrogates out promoting ROMNEYCARE for the United States needs to have their head examined and Newt Gingrich should bring this up every chance he gets. For anyone that does not believe the Florida AG said this they can go to Gretta’s website and see the video.

How much can “a lot” possibly be to Romney? He’s gets $20 million a year just sitting on his butt, collecting interest from his Cayman Islands accounts.
