Speaking as an American and a grandfather. What an inspiration to parents everywhere. A future of optimism and great expectations.
Newt is a visionary of the first order.
His intellect and grasp of issues past, present and future is awesome.
If Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac paid him $1.6 million -they got more than their money’s worth.

Newt made a series of tapes in mid 90 about the history of the world and the USA..........quite the set Perhaps Newt should reissue these tapes in modern technology. Are these the ones that the Dems hounded him for on ethics violations, charges ultimately determined to be baseless by the IRS. Has anyone ever seen them?

Somebody else has a similar opinion to Santorum, that I do ...
see this post #42 in "Santorum Giving Up on Florida?". I wouldn't state my opinion is quite so strong terms, as I don't know what's in his heart. But I totally agree that he's a bit player in this primary. A sideshow. Eventually irrelevant.

I was also glued to the screen. This going to take some getting used to ... I'm not used to hearing people talk about the greatness and ability of Americans. While I do it regularly at home, often with very unusual looks, it is weird coming for a politician. Newt is such a sharp contrast to Zero.
Newt makes me want to become a better American. That is why I am voting for him. (time to change my tag line)

Will c-span archive this and have it available to watch later? I would like to post Newt’s inspiring speech on an astronomy forum that I frequent.

Imagine: A president that actually loves America. One that loves ALL of the People of our country. One that knows and is proud of our rich history. One that works to bring us together, not divide us. One that inspires the dreams of our generation and generations to come.
Imagine a president that will help us be proud of America once again.
Imagine, just imagine President Newt Gingrich..... it’s going to happen.
GO NEWT GO.....

Oh baby, Newt just finished a speech, almost with no notes, that was so good, and so well delivered that if, mittens and Rick and the obummer, each took a third of it, used teleprompters and started practicing now, wouldn't be able to deliver it by election time.
The man is brilliant, has a great delivery, and no fear.
If the elite pubbies and obummer's team start to watch speeches like this one, they will commit hari kari.
I wonder where Newt gets so much energy?
