Rasmussen conducted a national poll of 1,000 likely Republican primary voters yesterday, and it confirmed what Gallups tracking poll also shows Newt Gingrichs second boomlet is for real. In the Rasmussen poll, Gingrich has vaulted to a seven-point lead as Romney settles back into the mid-20s:
After his game-changing win in South Carolina, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich continues to ride his surge to the front of the pack among likely Republican primary voters nationwide. He now leads Mitt Romney by seven points.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely GOP Primary Voters shows Gingrich with 35% of the vote, representing an eight-point increase in support from last week. Former Massachusetts Governor Romney now draws 28%. Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorums support is little changed at 16%, while Texas Congressman Ron Paul picks up 10%.

I don’t think last night’s debate will change much, given that the whole affair was a wash.
As someone else concisely put it, nothing happened = Newt wins.
Thankfully Newt will save us from a Romney/Murkowski ticket.
The RNC called my fiancee’ on his cell Sunday. He told them they had reached Newt central. All donations going to Gingrich. The line went click.
Thankfully Newt will save us from a Romney/Murkowski ticket.

OMG! That is about he only thing that would cause me to vote for a Third Party. You’ve heard of the Dream Ticket? Well, that’s the “Nightmare Ticket”.
When Santorum drops out and endorses Newt, Mittens will be history.
Gingrich/Santorum 2012.
Romeny better trot carefully starting about now with his bulldog attacks on Newt. It’s at a point now where further vicious attacking is just pure destructiveness of the GOP.
OTOH, I think he is into and enjoying scorched earth campaigning.
Interesting tidbit:
“It is worth noting that 41% of GOP voters nationwide are certain of their vote at this time, but 50% could still change their mind between now and their primary. Santorums supporters are the most likely to say they could still change their minds at some point.”
Santorum voters are probably already looking ahead to him leaving the race.
That said, I'd rather them be in our favor, but right now Florida is the only one that counts.
The cnn debate this Thursday will be raucous and since Newt has said the audience will be a part of it, you can bet, they will be.
I don't know which cnn worm is the moderator, but if it's that little weasel, woffy, he is probably coming down with the flu.
Gloria burger will be the fill in with help from david gargle, and the snake will offer commentary.
The GOP Elites will need these soon......................
I doubt Santorum is going anywhere anytime soon. The GOP Establishment is pumping him up so he can continue to siphon votes away from Newt.
WOOT!
Go Newt!
So true!! Also..
Romney/Lugar

Rebellion is ON!!

Don’t tread on me!!
