"Poor Chris, this is a rookie mistake. He played right into the media's hands," Fmr. Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) said about NJ Gov. Chris Christie calling Newt Gingrich an "embarrassment" to the party.
"Sometimes, if your candidate loses in just one step along this path, as was the case when Romney lost to Newt the other night. And of course, Romney is Chris Christie's guy, well you kind of get your panties in a wad and you may say things that you regret later and I think that is what Chris Christie did," Palin added.

The Chris Christie mystic wore off among FR a long time ago. Probably a couple months after the Scott Brown for President mantra died down on FR.
I love Christie when he’s focused on putting the public-sector union goons in their place, but Palin’s right on this one. (I said before that it was too soon for ANYONE to endorse Romney and wonder if there were promises made ...)

Besides that, Christie (who is my own Governor) has joined a number of others who have so misread the current situation
re: Gingrich, Romney, and the upcoming nomination and election) and by others I mean, some vacillating FOX talking heads, Ann Coulter, Nicki Haley, and , god forbid, even the GREAT Mark Steyn.
