Obama blames eligibility woes on GOP and "hyperpartisanship"
The Hill ^ | January 23, 2012 | edge919

This looks like Obama is trying to float a test excuse as to why he won't be showing up at the ballot-eligibility hearing in Georgia on Thursday.

Carney: Obama sees ‘regrettable level of hyperpartisanship’ in Washington

"Even though he promised to bridge partisanship before coming into office, President Obama “accepts that there is still a regrettable level of hyperpartisanship,” White House spokesman Jay Carney said on Monday.

Carney said there were “instances” in which the tone on Pennsylvania Avenue “got in the way of moving forward.”

To blame Republicans is the first sign of options they are going to use.
It's too late for that.
Everybody around the world knows that it was those crazy, whacked out "birthers" from the nether regions of the Internet, not Republicans, who kept after him.
Everybody around the world also knows that neither the Republicans, nor anyone else "in Washington" including the USSC for that matter, didn't want to touch this with a ten foot pole. Besides, too many prominent Republicans have, over several years, introduced bills wanting to do away with the natural born citizen clause themselves so it's another point against such a "test" being viable.
Congressional records show that on eight separate occasions over six years, between 2003 and 2008, legislators attempted to eliminate or change the definition of the “Natural Born” eligibility clause of Article 2 of the Constitution in order to remove restrictions and, thereby, create legal justifications supporting Obama’s unlawful candidacy for President.

Sorry, your test theory fails with me. This was nothing more than flailing about for a convenient scapegoat who won't cry out when it gets whipped.

Speaking of damage control - at American Thinker there’s a Jan. 4, 2012 article by Cindy Simpson titled “The Birthers Went Down to Georgia”. I printed it last week, including copies of the materials at the links she provided. A few minutes ago I went to one of those links to print that info again.

Simpson’s 7th paragraph begins: “Obama admitted, on his 2008 campaign website, that he was born a dual citizen, the son of a non-US citizen...”

Tonight, clicking on the link-word “website” takes you not to that 2008 campaign website [as it did just the other day], but to...

TA..DAAA! AttackWatch.com - “Get the facts. Fight the smears”

Obie is sweatin’ bullets over the numbers of people who’ve seen that 2008 in-print admission that he was, quote, “native born” and with dual citizenship, to a non-US citizen father.

A very interesting development!

And, I just got finished watching Brett Baier talk about the Georgia case on Special Report.

Motion Denied
Updating a story we told you about earlier this month. A Georgia state judge has denied a motion by the Obama administration to quash a subpoena requiring the president to attend a hearing Thursday, over his citizenship and eligibility to be on the state's March primary ballot.
President Obama's defense team argues the subpoena requires him to interrupt his duties as president.
However, Judge Michael Malihi says that argument fails to provide any legal authority.
In response, an Obama campaign official said quote -- "These claims have no merit and any attempts to compel the president's personal involvement will fail."

Whew man! That's some real double talking there!

Did you forget or rule out all those politicals, judges and even military people who not only enabled Obama but abetted him as well? there are so many people who must face the light as to Obama’s chicanery being allowed. Even the candidate debates won’t touch the issue as warm/hot as it now is. Hard to believe this can’t be an issue- oh! I forget the pragmatism of political positions.

I am not going to get into the substantive debate about the legal ramifications of these hypothetical factual disclosures. The actual facts are about to come out because there is extensive conversation in Washington DC that at least assumes knowledge about what the actual situation is and at that point, there may be further discussions about the legal consequences.

It would not be surprising if some of the recent releases from the White House reflect consideration of a limited hang out on the place and circumstances of birth issue. Some Dems in Congress have been told to prepare for disclosures on this question.

One of my political concerns about how this issue plays out is that it seems to me that there is a sympathetic spin available on this question. It doesn't sound to me as though any of the Republican Candidates or officials are prepared to use the actual situation in support of a firm political position in opposition to zero.

As to the narrow procedure issue in Georgia, there is an extensive record that zero has gone around throughout his life telling people that he was born in Kenya. In the court files in the many suits filed on this issue, there are a variety of affidavits from individuals who were told in one on one conversations with zero; or from other individuals who attended campaign coffee hours in which zero said or referred to the place of his birth as Kenya.

Race Bannion, who is a Free Republic member, returned to Honolulu from a military deployment in the Middle East in 1980 or 81 on which his last stop was in Mombasa; he met zero in a bar in Honolulu and had the famous conversation where zero told him he (zero) had been born in the Coast Provincial General Hospital in Mombasa.

Under circumstances where all these so called birth certificates he has produced are fraudulent fakes, the best evidence of his place of birth are his own statements against interest so in a legal proceeding such as the one pending, all you ought to need to do to put zero to proof is to introduce evidence of those statements.

Although very little is certain, I believe there is a reasonable record of the birth of Barack H. Obama II's birth in Kenya. It didn't happen in August of 1961. The problem is that the certificate has readable footprints that zero is confident do not match his feet.

About the dual citizenship legal issue, I would like to make one point that I know many here do not want to think about.

Having looked carefully into the legal situation, I have learned that many American's are dual citizens of the US and of one of the Euro Countries--even though the father and mother were both US Citizens (in the mother's case a multi generational US Citizen); in the fathers case, the natural born citizen son of a naturalized US Citizen and a Native American mother.

In fact, a significant portion of the North American population is in the same situation. If a person has a grandfather who was a citizen of any one of the many major Euro countries that provide for it, that person is in most cases, a born citizen of that country.

So how does the wishful thinking here about dual citizenship deal with that issue? Is everybody who is a second generation American to a Euro Immigrant disqualified as a Natural Born Citizen? I doubt that is how the Supreme Court is likely to come down.

In Zero's case that may have some application. Although his father was a clear Natural Born Citizen with multi generational ancestry US Citizens on both sides, his mother may not have been a US Citizen and may well have been a Citizen of another country in which citizenship would follow birth.

No, I didn’t forget any of those. If you follow any of the threads I have posted in on these issues, I believe that we need to clean house - i.e. get rid of the whole stinking, rotted mess in Washington from top to bottom and start over . . . . . beginning with resetting some of the most eggregrious Amendments to the Constitution (14th, 16th, and 17th come to mind) and restoring America to its original concept of a representative republic which it no longer is.

However (and perhaps I read more into your response than you intended) the way I understood your post, you would want to include EVERYONE responsible for Obama and, to me, that would include indicting those who voted for him and/or contributed to his election.

We both know that there are limits to how far this can go but, I agree that no stone should be left unturned to get all of those involved in propping zero up - and that includes the lazy, treasonous DBM who have done NOTHING to investigate this Kenyan fraud and expose him him for the phony that he is.

Does that help ease your mind?

Hey guys... I got pinged to this conversation which I gather is about Leo and Justia... can you folks give me a bit of a synopses on this? I am having trouble following exactly what you are discussing. It has been an insane crazy week for me and is going to continue along that line till the weekend.

From what I did pick up... Leo uses MANY sources. Yet, like the rest of us, when something needs to be done, there often isn’t enough time to go check a law library. Additionally, not every legal research site has all the needed information, or has a crappy search engine, or something similar.

Now Cornell uses Open.Resource.org, the same source that Justia uses along with several others. Public.Resource.org is run by Carl Malamud, who is tight with George Soros. Need I say more? When Public.Resource.org pushed their data, it is formatted so that the website it is going to can simply plug that information into pre-formatted pages. So when the data is pushed in an incorrect format, it doesn’t load correctly. To blame such things on “code errors” is a strawman argument at best. Justia went a step further and literally deleted case names and case text out of dozens of cases, and likely a whole lot more. Justia’s Tim Stanley and Carl Malamud are also tight. “leaders” in the open information society. Umm hum.

Now, because Leo DOES use multiple sources, and double checks them, then references them with physical books in the library, then researches the historical cases cited WITHIN those cases, he discovered what Justia was doing. I was witness to it and helped to do the research and analysis in the Justia instance.

I do not speak for Leo, but I would imagine he felt about it much as I did, seriously pissed off. I was horrified that anyone would corrupt SCOTUS cases to further their ends of destroying the constitution with an illegal POTUS. It made me sick.

America has been a nation for less than 260 years, and ALREADY we are losing great swaths of our history. From our foundational history, to our legal history and beyond.

Just as it is with out constitution, our history really matters. Without out history we cannot appreciate the constitution, and without the constitution WE ARE NOTHING. We are Americans because of the constitution, not in spite of it.

So do I think Leo got duped? No more than you or I did. We all got abused by Justia/Public.Resource’s actions.

Reframe the events.... what is the single largest revolution in public information? The internet. There is NO digital certification of government information, none at all. So even government sites can publish corrupted data, let along the public market. So we have this vast amount of information literally at our fingertips, and absolutely NO way to know if any of it is accurate with out doing the personal legwork necessary to verify it.

Yet we trust that “official sites” or sites suitable for CITATION in scholarly journals, university papers, legal cases or even for blogging are ACCURATE and provide precisely what they say they do, provide full information. The breach in faith when those sited deliberately redact information THEY choose to is immoral at best, criminal at worst, and absolutely the actions of an ENEMY out to change the dialogue - and thus change the outcome of events.

Though I am not certain of the context, I saw a sentence stating that ‘Leo was just pissed because he got duped,’. My answer to this is simple, YOU GOT DUPED AS WELL.... WHY AREN’T YOU PISSED OFF?

We live our lives under the mistaken assumption that people are in general good. That may be true, but only within context... people are good for THEMSELVES and their own interests first. This was glaringly illustrated by Justia and Public.Resource.org and their masters.

How can this not piss off any informed American? It resulted in an unconstitutional POTUS! Sure, it was one of many stones cast to make that happen without a doubt. It just happened to fall into the legal field where Leo is a brilliant shining star. You do NOT go into Leo Donofrio’s back yard and crap all over his yard. Oh no, he has the courage of his convictions, has the stones to speak truth to power, and give us back our history. He has done it all at his own personal expense and has not asked for a thing back other than to inform as many people as he can. I hold the man in high personal esteem for good reason. He has earned it.

That was me, Danae. And, no, I didn't get duped at all as I don't use Justia.com as a source.
The frigging place had a "Have a Happy Day" hyperlink at the bottom of the page for crying out loud! And someone is supposed to take a site like that seriously?! And is Leo too ignorant to look into who runs the place he uses on the Internet? I don't think so. Even you know about the place's managers and their liberal ideology/slant.

So as I concluded, and as you've theoretically agreed...Leo is pissed that a site he depended on duped him.
Time to face reality and drop the "wounded victim" act. He's got enough detractors as it is.

Ok, phiman, you just got uploaded to the idiot troll list.

I gave you an honest and real answer which totally jives with REALITY. I know, I was there. I know what resources Leo was using and why. Beyond that, Search engines like Jstor, Lexis, Proquest, EBSCOHost, and several others which you most likely do not have access to along with the rest of the public are tools regularly used by us. Justia was used by the regular public like YOU. People who wanted to know the truth, but were denied that truth, while being told that it WAS the truth. If that is OK by you, well that says more about YOU than anyone else. Even worse, the company pushing the data to other websites including Cornell Law were victims of Public.Resource.Org. So it wasn’t simply Justia brainiac.

FURTHERMORE, I know what is available on the internet and what isn’t. I ALSO know who has crappy search engines, and who houses SCOTUS cases older than 60 years.

Name ONE legal web site which used Google Analytics in 2008.

(crickets)

Come on, I DARE you. I know the answer. Do you? Now, name the source for nearly ever legal website in getting SCOTUS cases as they become available from SCOTUS. There are only a few. Let us know when you figure that out. I will give you a hint, one was NOT Justia.

You want to smack down Leo? Let us know when you are done kicking your own ass first umkay? You do not have the intellectual acumen to smack down Leo. You don’t rate.

You know nothing about Leo.

You are an arrogant crystal ball reader with an overinflated sense of self importance. You THINK you know what sources Leo uses? Sorry Bubba, you best go polish that ball of yours, because if you think YOU know what Leo does how he does it or why then you are smoking the contents of your own toilet.

You are not only wrong but you are stupid wrong.

I was pissed because some bastards had the AUDACITY to VIOLATE Supreme Court Cases. When we found the scope of it - when Leo involved me in investigating it we actually contacted other members of the internet community to spread the word about it, No joke, one columnist and one editor at the Washington Times, the editor at AIM.org and others knew before we went public. I emailed the founder of this site just so that someone here would know about it LIVE before publishing it because we knew the evidence of it would disappear the moment we published it. People saw it LIVE just as we did.

When we had the evidence, we busted them on it.

We didn’t know the links between Justia and Public.Resource.Org and Soros before the investigation. We didn’t know about Law.gov either, not until we started looking into who was running these companies, their backgrounds, and associations did we discover those connections. People who would have HAD to have a part in the redactions.. only then did we discover who was running these sites. The redactions were found FIRST, the other connections came later. So stop acting as if we knew who the players were before we found any of it. We didn’t. NO ONE KNEW IT PUBLICLY, and if YOU are saying YOU did, then I am going to call you a liar.

When we DID learn it, we PUBLISHED it. Why didn’t YOU publish if YOU knew it all $martass? Stick that in your pipe and smoke it too.

Don’t EVER call me a liar even by implication Phil. Don’t accuse Leo of it in my presence either... Unless you want another colossal smackdown. I put my name and reputation out in public, as does Mr. Donofrio, and if I am inaccurate or mistaken, I ADMIT it publicly, and have done so here in the past. I have personally gone above and beyond the call of duty to make certain that what I publish is the truth, and back it up with citations and references which anyone with half a brain can backtrack to it’s source. You don’t have the balls to do any of that. Instead you make wild accusations which you cannot EVER prove, and further attempt to slime with the same tactics of the progressive left.

I don’t know you, and don’t know your posting history. But you strike me as a total nub who is totally unfamiliar with the work I have done, or the level to which I have done it. Forget about Leo, you don’t know the first thing about the man. I am not stupid enough to claim that I do for heaven’s sake!

I wash my hands of you.

Good day sir.

Oh, BTW, there's this thing called "About Us" (or words to that effect) on just about every decent site.
I look at them.
So even a layman can look into any website if they're so inclined. They might even independently cross reference those people to find things out about them...just out of curiosity.

Aaaaaanyway, I presume that since all this has been discovered you and Leo are going to ask the State Bar of California, which Tim Stanley is a member of, to take action, aren't you?
Or will ya'll even bother?
