I’d be ok with one 2 minute duel.

No way that happens. No way Zero agrees to go that long without a smoke.

Yes. I’m sure Gingrich would be fine with Obama and his teleprompters.

That was a good line. Will hand him that. I hope Obama got pissed off about it.

It’s not going to happen. I agree that Newt will be good against Obama but he knows that these lincoln-douglas debates are not going to happen

Smart use of his speech time...pre-empting Obama’s SOTU and setting his case before the public. It was subdued and simple. This is what a politician does. He leads.

Brit Hume is tying hs best to kill Newt.

Wonder if Obama will sleep in a fetal position tonight, if he can sleep.

I think Obama will be practicing his duck and cover drills at the White House during the debate times...

Meanwhile, back in the white house, Obama tells Valerie Jarrett “Quick, get me some dark pants stat, I am gonna need them for when Newt makes me crap my pants”

Obama would also need the remote (ff/rew) to the TelePrompTer to keep up with what Newt said as he ran circles around him with actual facts.

Fat chance. If obozo’s handlers ever let him talk about his agenda for 3 hours he would probably have to leave the country. Never mind win reelection.

He should also challenge him to an arm-wrestling contest

...and a pitching contest

...and a contest to see who can name the most states (Obama would win that one.)

...and a contest to see who can correctly name the most states (Newt would win that one.)

Newt will have to challenge 0bama’s ego and narcissistic nature so he overrules his campaign advisors. His advisors won’t agree to that many debates otherwise.

Seriously...what in the hell is going on over at Fox? Tons of snide remarks about Newt all night and really the last 2 months have just been a bash fest on the guy.

I expect better from Brit.

He also said that -- in the event Obama does not agree to debates with a timekeeper but no moderator -- he will show up, within four hours, in any city or town that Obama speaks in, to deliver a speech rebutting every point Obama makes.

By the way, I can see one way Obama can handle this pledge. I'll be some of you can too.

I look for the Kenyan to do the “historic” thing by refusing to do any debates.
