After Newt Gingrich was declared the winner of the South Carolina primary Saturday night, Karl Rove suggested that the candidate has CNN’s John King to thank for his victory in the Palmetto State.
“Taking on the media is always good in a Republican primary,” Rove said on Fox News. “John King couldn’t have set up the question in a more positive way for Gingrich to just nail it and haul it right out of the park.”

Say what? The election is still ten months off, and the pubbies don’t even have a candidate. Newt has been the ONLY one in the race to fight back against the lame stream media and the talking heads in the GOP. His views have been refreshing, at least; and, spot on for the most part.

Governor Rick Perry gave Newt the bump over Romney by suspending campaign and endorsing him.
I have to agree with that. The timing was perfect I believe it was known that this ex-wife interview was going to play a huge part in the MSM's agenda. Perry true patriot that he is got it out there first and softened the blow.

If I am Newt Gingrich, I am taking John King and Juan Williams out to the most expensive dinners and sending their wives a fresh bouquet of roses every night! The clips of Newt’s responses to those 2 guys’ questions have been on constant rotation, non-stop, all week, all the networks free of charge to Newt! Drudge has posted the links, so Youtube is getting all these hits, free of charge.
If I am Newt, I am begging NBC to have Ed Schultz, Rachel Maddox, Chris Matthews and Al Sharpton only, to moderate the NBC debate Monday in Tampa. Don’t waste my time with Brian Williams. I want those moderators seething, foaming at the mouth, kicking, biting, hitting him with everything, hold nothing back! This is really the time when we need the wildest of the wildest leftist liberals to define the discussion for our GOP nominee. John King and Juan Williams are too moderate for me - I want the real freaks!
