It's 0930 EST and there's nothing in the sidebar that looks like a live thread for the SC primary . . .
I think he hates Newt and I am satisfied that he isn’t going to let up.
Newt, with our help, will prove Brit and his gang wrong, again and again.
Little did she know that by her being on that ABC show that she would help push Newt to the top....LOL!
WooHoo.....GO NEWT GO!
Nope. Phil Roe is an establishment pubby trying to look tuned in. I don’t know how many folks from this district send him documents to look at, but after sending nearly 50 pages of materials on different occasions and receiving not even a ‘we got the papers, we’ll read them’ from his offices, I have zero respect for the fraud. He was tired of doctoring so he leaped into politics with the blessing of the establishment Republican machine. I got invited to participate in one of his first phone confere3nce calls. I joined in and was promptly told to ‘just be a listener this first time’. I’ve had subsequent invitations but have no desire to be a part of his fraud.
Ron Paul needs to stay in until VA so he can beat Willard there.
"How are the delegates allocated among the candidates? South Carolina uses a winner-take-all system to award delegates. A candidate is awarded 11 delegates for winning the primary, plus two delegates for each congressional district won. South Carolina has seven districts beginning with the 2012 election.'
Absentee ballots
I just sent my email....politely telling him his personal bias was evident...and that he should excuse himself from any further commentary.
That was a pitiful pitiful display by Hume.
I agree with you about Brit. I went back and read the post someone referred to.
Losing a child has to be the most devastating thing that can happen to one and it certainly has changed Brit Hume.
I wonder why he thinks Newt ‘outed’ his son and what does that mean?
Would being outed as gay cause someone to commit suicide in these days? Hard to imagine. Well, it’s a sad story and I feel very sorry for Brit, but, that being said, he should not be commenting when he has this personal issue.
Snakehead Carville: "Dis heah is wahr, y'all."
Very unprofessional of him to say those things.
I actually saw him in the local Walmart here in Southern Maine. At first sight I tried to place the familiar face and for a moment thought it was Fred Gwynne until realizing that he had died then I figured out that it was Hume.
Col. David Hunt lives in the same city here in Maine so I approached him and said "you must be here in Maine visiting Col. Hunt" And he laughed but said "no, he's not"
He really does look like the late Fred Gwynne in person. Just as tall too. LOL
It appears at this time that Romney has won at most the two high density counties of Richland and Charleston. Amazingly, in some counties Newt has won what would be a landslide in a TWO MAN RACE, as high as sixty percent! In at least one county Romney is third behind...tada...Ron Paul. It was last reported in that county as Gingrich 44, Paul 21 and Romney in third. Paul outpolled Santorum in multiple counties.
I think this is what you call an old-fashioned Southern ass-kickin’ for Romney. He is going to be playing catch-up now in Florida and if he fails to gain a solid win in Florida he is dead meat. Since it has turned out that Santorum actually won Iowa Mitt has nothing except the one tiny state that nobody expected him to lose, that is hardly worth calling a win. The “hat trick” that the media was calling for a few days ago has turned into a fiasco. I don’t think Romney is very good at the come from behind game, any comments on that?
I’’ll be voting absentee in FL., will be sending in my ballot for Newton Leroy on Monday!!!
Brit Hume tried to kill the momentum at the very end by reciting a FOX poll saying Newt has 56% unfavorable ratings nationwide. He said the House and Senate are going to try to destroy his candidacy because they’re afraid if he’s the nominee he’ll lose and lose them seats at the same time.
I’m not so sure they’ll do that, especially since a lot of the house are Tea Partiers now and the Republicans don’t have a ton of seats up for grabs in the Senate this year.
I think we supporters have to look at how Newt completely turned his poll numbers around in the primary once people got a closer look at him in the debates. That unfavorable may also be weighted against him higher in the very liberal blue states, so it may not be cutting as much into a potential electoral college victory. The media created a bad impression of Newt when they controlled everything in the ‘90s. They’ve been less successful at doing that since the era of the internet, talk radio and FOX News boomed. I am expecting FOX will get back on the side of whoever the nominee is once the primary is over.
Yes! Really!!!! D@mn fine photo, IMO. He must have started a phone tree to fill the room for his concession speech. LOL
It has been ugly to behold. Here is a list of disappointments among those I thought had conservativeism at heart. These folks should have been exposing Romney’s liberalism instead of carrying his water:
Dennis Prager (Who I generally enjoy)
Rush Limbaugh (Non-committed attacks on Romney’s liberalism)
Mark Levin (Non-committed attacks on Romney’s liberalism)
Hugh Hewitt
Fox News (As a whole)
Senator Coburn
Ann Coulter (Biggest Disappointment)
Michael Medved (not in agreement often, but good debater)
Dennis Miller (Libertarian, but usually insightful)
Sean Hannity (Lumped into Fox failure to be balanced, better lately)
Herman Cain (Weak endorsement)
Michelle Bachmann (Unfortunately a Romneybot)
Brit Hume (Too tied in with Weekly Standard crowd)
The GOP establishment wants to continue the status quo, and refuses to recognize the desperate situation this country is in. Many of these radio folks have been getting hammered by listeners that they are going to lose their listener-ship if they don’t face reality.
I foresee a mass exodus of ratings for these individuals as the year of decisions continues.
An important message for Britt Hume...
Britt, you poor excuse for a journalist POS RomneyBot Establishment PUke....
FUBH !!
NEWT WON!!! YAHOOOOOOO!!! **whistling clapping cheering, rising to my feet and shooting my Ruger Vagueros into the ceiling!!!** POW POW POW!!!
That's our kinda stuff!!!
GODSPEED NEWT GINGRICH IN FLORIDA NEXT!!!
And scaring the cats even more than the vacuum cleaner will, shortly, though I will be flitting about joyously as I do my chores!!! HOOORAY!!
And when I'm done vacuuming, I'll come back and finish this thread from where I left off, at post 551!
Oh Frabjuous day!!!
