Newt’s admitted his mistakes. Some ‘idiots’ just choose to have selective amnesia.

Excellent!...from memory?

...also, one of Hollywoods most overrated ‘actors’. I’ve been more moved by cardboard boxes.

Give him some slack. He was just practicing for his upcoming role, Mark Wahlberg as the “Mall Ninja”.

I think he was excellent in The Italian Job and The Shooter. He is not nearly as wooden as Damon or Affleck. Warhlberg gets into his characters more than most of his generation. I think he will just get better over time.

He was a seemingly healthy, 30 year old man at the time.

Was the military accepting new enlistments then, I think they were.

Let’s face it, everyone says that they could take on the local school bully...that’s until they actually run into him.

...or as one of the finest actors of our time, Curley Howard, would've said,”he grows on people...like a wart”.

I don't really mean to be that harsh towards Marky Mark, it's just not that often you get an opportunity to quote Curley.

I have. I think it's pretty good.

"Mark is not only devoted to his family. He tries to make it to Church every day, no matter where he is in the world. And when Father Flavin’s parish gymn needed a facelift back home, it was Mark who stepped in."

""The 38-year-old reformed bad boy relies on his closest confidante and longtime religious mentor, the Rev. James Flavin, to help him pick and choose his parts. 'Mark is a practicing Catholic, and he never makes a final decision on a starring role until Father Flavin gives his OK,' an insider revealed to The Enquirer."

I like the series too but I could do without the hamfisted polemics on race and homosexuality.

I do not think the gratuitous nudity is the mark of a devout Christian influence...at least not to me.

For anyone on the first flights that slammed into the Twin Towers to do anything other than what the terrorist wanted would have been fool-hearty.

One has to remember that passengers believed there was a bomb on board and the terrorist o9nly wanted hostages to bargain for their (presumed) demands.

It was only on later flights that they knew what we knew they were intent on suicide mission. It was on Flight 93 over Pennsylvania that Todd Beamer and others took action and said those memorial words..

“Lets Roll.”

From then on to today, nobody would think twice about taking on anyone who dared endanger their lives on any flight...
