John King started the night with a question about Newt’s ex-wife’s interview in which she alleged Newt sought an “open marriage.” Newt answered the question eventually with a denial, but used the oppoturnity to give King a smackdown which will be remembered for a long time.
Newt could fall back on how in the Old Testament King David really screwed up in his personal life (adulterer and had one of his best warriors murdered because he wanted to bed his wife)...yet God called David “a man after His own heart”

But--God can use that ego for his own purposes, and my prayer is that God will be gracious enough to our nation to use Newt to defeat a man who is not only arrogant, but so narcissistic that he seeks to destroy those who criticize him or stand in the way of his accomplishing his "divine" plans.
Newt, I truly believe, seeks to lead this nation. Obama wants to RULE it. And that's what makes the difference between a president, and a dictator!
I always thought that Anderson Cooper and John King were the same guy. Now we'll be able to tell them apart.

Now I know you are probably about twelve years old, judging by the infantile level of judgment reflectded in your comment, but try to think like an adult for five seconds--who is distracting who from what?
It only takes one man ‘with guts’ to stand up and be a leader of the people to begin the march to sanity for our Nation-—America was born in truth and the blood of common men along with the words of statesmen who put the hopes of the common man into our Declaration of Independance and our Constutition—USA is the only country in the world with written Constitutional protections for the regular citizen , not just the elite and moneyed group-—if our schools taught history, which Newt is a student of, everyone would know the full background of our Nation and how precious and fragile our freedom really is-—which of us has no flaws or never made a bad choice in our lives-—I sure have and I challenge others to deny their errors of life——I sincerely hope Newt wins the nomination and goes on to the Presidency for we need a man the ‘guts and backbone’ more than ever since Lincoln fought to keep the country together in the Civil War-—I am just an old WW2 vet and we needed a man like FDR to speak out and hold the nation together for it’s future—now we need another man of courage (the hell with his personal business flaws)to do the same!!

That's a wise attitude because every man has "character flaws" unless Jesus Christ is throwing his hat in the ring. Not all men are frauds however, and it is smart to learn to discern who the bad ones are.
