Im told reliably that Governor Perry will head up a 10th Amendment project for Speaker Gingrich to rally Governors and state legislators toward a plan of devolving power from Washington. This project will include helping shape the Republican platform for the general election.
Governor Perry will also campaign for Speaker Gingrich in Texas.
THANK YOU, Texas (155 delegates) & Gov Perry!
GO NEWT!!!
Speaker Gingrich-led Republicans
.the result: * Voting on each of the Contract with America items * Four consecutive balanced budgets * Over $400 billion of debt paid off * Major welfare reform accomplished * 11 million new jobs for America * Unemployment falling to under 4%.
BTTT for Newt!
THANK YOU GOVERNOR PERRY!!!!!!!!!!
GO NEWT!!!!!!!
NEWT! NEWT! NEWT! NEWT! NEWT! NEWT! NEWT! NEWT! NEWT! NEWT! NEWT! NEWT! NEWT! NEWT! NEWT! NEWT! NEWT!
“I was on a flight and landed to over 100 voicemails and over 1000 emails. Rick Perry is dropping out of the race.
Sources close to both campaigns tell me that the Governor and Speaker have spoken and Governor Perry will endorse Newt Gingrich. But it will go beyond that.
Im told reliably that Governor Perry will head up a 10th Amendment project for Speaker Gingrich to rally Governors and state legislators toward a plan of devolving power from Washington. This project will include helping shape the Republican platform for the general election, something small government conservatives have been concerned about.
Governor Perry will also campaign for Speaker Gingrich in Texas. Texas has more than enough delegates at 155 (and they are winner take all they are proportional) to offset Newt Gingrich not being on the Virginia ballot, which only has 49 delegates.
Looks like we have a race now”
Warm hugs to all Perry people here.
I bet Mitt has a bad hair day today.
TO ALL RICK PERRY SUPPORTERS-THIS IS GOING TO BE EXCITING!!!!!!!
Excellent!

Depending on the intensity with which they will pursue this and the overall scale they are considering, this is a long overdue, and highly welcome sea change in our national direction.
Big stuff.
This is pretty big. Many people liked Perry but were afraid of him debating with Obama. They like his ideas and his character, so him backing Newt will help ease their minds for Newt.
Also in Virginia we’ll all need to vote for Ron Paul so that Romney doesn’t get the delegates. And it may help keep Paul from running 3rd party.
Go, Newt!!!!
Thank you, Governor Perry!!!!
The more I get to know Perry, the more I love that guy. It is good he is staying in Texas, though. You need him there.
gotta love pols...calling each other scum one minute...loving the next
Drudge must be having a sore keister day...he is in full anti Newt mode like I have never seen...this Perry dropout must be killing him.
What a small man he has turned out to be.
Thinking with his fecal orifice rather than his admittedly reasonable brain.
Yet another propagandist.
Prepare for the powers that be to pull out all stops to fight this now. This is what you call putting fear into the establishment big time!!!!!
lol...you loved him bout five minutes after he dropped out i suspect..
I find it funny that the Newt supporters are singing the praises of Perry now when as little as a yesterday, most were calling him a loser and a bum. The guy looks like a class act to me. I think a good number of you Newters owe Perry supporters an apology for some of the vitriol and venom that was directed towards Perry supporters.
bttt
Yep! I’m all-in for Newt. I’ll do my grieving over Rick Perry with a smile in my heart and sweet revenge on my mind. Watch out, Mitt, you’re in my sights. It ain’t someplace you wanna be, bub.
I used to drop by the drudge report almost every day.
No more. His carrying Willard’s water is just to much.
PS Willard is MittCare Romney for those who don’t know.
