I hope the “folks out there” listening to Newt's ex-wife will notice the amazing similarities in timing and testimony to the Chicago women chosen to do character assassinations on Herman Cain. This was planned and rehearsed, bought and paid for.

He’s a great debater. But he is psychologically very needy. The world ends after the tip of his nose. I have studied as a psychologist this type of deeply needy person, desperate to be someone, unloved in some way as a child, and they make very poor leaders.

I have said here on FR that people like him, Clinton, and of course Obama should never be elected.

I am sorry so many of you have your hearts set on him, but his knowledge and sharp tongue are Not Met with a statesman’s heart or a good man’s valiance. I’m not kidding. He is not a good man. The part that you like doesn’t make up for his not being trustworthy.

We will regret a President Gingrich. We really, really will.

Do me a favor. No more negative Santorum talk. It isn't terrible but really not necessary. The poor guy really thought he was going to serve our country. He is not a villain like Romney or Obama. He will most likely drop out on Sunday so until then let's just let him do his thing. Thanks!!!

I just moved from Maryland to Virginia, haven’t bothered to register to vote in VA, and of course the VA primary is extra-irrelevant because only Romney and Paul are on the ballot.

However, I honestly might have voted for Newt. I like a lot of his policy views, and I’m generally in favor of the (intellectually) smartest guy, which Newt obviously is, by an enormous margin.

I personally don’t care about any of this ex-wife business either, and I’m enough of a student of history to know there are an infinite number of world leaders with hideous personal morals who were tremendous leaders.

However, I:

1) Am rational and objective.

2) Can understand and predict the views of people other than myself.

3) Live in a world where I know a lot of moderates of both parties, independents, and swing voters among my friends, family, and co-workers.

2) Give a tearful public apology to Marianne.

The second option has maybe a 5% chance of working.
