WASHINGTON President Barack Obama will visit Walt Disney World on Thursday to "unveil a strategy that will significantly help boost tourism and travel," a White House aide said today.
The president is expected to deliver his remarks inside the Magic Kingdom, with Disney's iconic Cinderella Castle as backdrop. The resort has prohibited employees from using passes to get into its flagship theme park for the day and taken a series of steps to steer guests into its other three parks, as well.

President Mickey Mouse will go to Never Neverland and will never resurface. (sigh)
Obama is better suited for Disney World than he is for the White House.
He reminds me of that story about a runaway monkey from about a week ago; never know which tree he might show up in. Jeesh!

O’bambi has ruined tourism along with everything else. The more he breaks people with high food and gas prices, the fewer are able to travel.
So what is the strategy to boost the pockets of your Disney buddies, huh?
Who does the taxpayer have to fund that gets to go on free vacas?
How fitting: a Presidency based on fantasies and supported mostly by the ignorant and deluded will announce new policies at a place dedicated to cartoon characters and beloved by children.
Nope. Commie!

he will probably give a speech in one of the resort convention centers with a sterile background. I can’t believe his handlers will be so stupid as to put him with faries and cartoon characters.
oh his advisors will.....but we all know Obama, he won’t listen, he knows best, he wants the whole unicorn bit.
Several years ago, I took my then 6-year old daughter to Disney World for a day when we happened to be in Orlando over the Christmas holiday.
I (stupidly) figured that Christmas Day would be the best day to go, since it seemed to me that the park wouldn’t be that crowded on that day. Big mistake — it turns out that Christmas Day is the most crowded day of the year at Disneyworld.
To make matters worse, the weather was rotten, and as soon as we got to the park it began pouring. Everybody ducked into Cinderella’s Castle to get out of the rain. The lobby of the Castle was as crowded as a NYC subway train at rush hour.
We were jammed in there, and at my daughter’s eye level, all she could see was the butts of the adults surrounding us.
To this day, we refer to DisneyWorld as “AssWorld.”
You can’t build America’s economy on tourism
Also, FUBO.
Obama is going to close down the Magic Kingdom for his own personal use?
It's good to be the King!

Goofy.
Seriously, I looked for a sarcasm tag... no luck...
You know, sometimes you really don’t know whether to laugh or cry. The Iranians are sending him a model of the drone they captured, now he’s announcing he’s going to Disneyland to make a major policy speech...
And idiots like that putz at Newsweak wonder why people don’t appreciate his brilliance.
Can anyone imagine the jokes being bandied around in the Kremlin? The Forbidden City? Tehran? This entire administration to date has been a joke, but this is beyond bizzaro...
Not sure about Disney World, but at Disneyland (which I visited 56 times last year) the best holiday to go with the smallest crowds is New Year’s Day. Some possible reasons are as follows: People are hung over, stayed up too late the night before, want to watch the Rose Parade and the bowl games.
I see Fox announced that Obama plans to accept his nomination in the Bank of America Stadium in NC. The country’s first robo nomination?
The ‘Turista’ President .. Lenin got around too..
We’ve been wanting to go there for years, but, alas, we always get socked with some enormous tax bill and that kills that.
Meanwhile, I sit back and watch as every loser bunch around heads on down there for their week-long stay.
Next he’ll issue free Disney vacations for all welfare recipients.
