Not Mittwit. Not paleoPaulie. Not now, not EVER. If the GOP does not want four more years of Obozo, it had da*n well better see to it that neither of those two are nominated for ANYTHING. How many social conservatives refusing to vote for the Mittwit are necessary to defeat him? Nominate him and you will find out. People can vote for the lower offices and, if there are good candidates, they should. No conservative should vote for Mittwit or Paul no matter who the opposition may be. They are both useless and would both destroy the GOP brand.

Make the Mittwit and Paul poster boys for how mountains of money and corrupt snuggling up to the lame stream media will not make any old phony POTUS as a Republican. I have voted Republican in each and every POTUS election since and including 1968. I will hold my nose no more forever. McCain was the very last imbecile in GOP clothing for whom I would vote.

If you actually believe that the GOP Congressional caucuses under corrupt and spineless quislings like Boehner and McConnell are going to do anything to restrain their soulmate Romney, then a lot of people here will want some of what you are smoking.

The "leaders" destroyed the credibility of the Tea Party freshmen by buying and bullying them into supporting a $2.4 trillion increase in the debt limit and therefore in Obozo's election year allowance as Santa Claus. Now he is back looking for more only six months later. Even my fine veteran Congressman voted for that insanity last year. He is demanding that Congress be brought back into session in the House to pass a resolution telling Obozo: NO! to his demand for another $trillion +. My Congressman will be disappointed by the whore in the Speaker's chair. What else is new?

Personally, I am not interested in would'a, could'a, should'a. I am verrrry interested in seeking the destruction of each and every rotten, corrupt GOP SOB and cowardly quisling and special interest marionette responsible for the Mittwit if he is nominated. Paul won't be nominated but, if he were, likewise.

I was a Reagan state chairman when he challenged Ford. We will build a Reaganite majority when we build a disciplined strike force of Republican actual conservatives, unbought, unbossed and not ever paid for. We will train youth and old folks who have time on their hands. We will train in ideology and in nuts and bolts of organization. Like Scarlett O'Hara digging in the turnip patch, just before intermission, we will never put up with this year's kind of crap again. Let us understand what it means to be partisans and act accordingly. Rule or ruin! Now and forever.

“It’s about time someone had some sense.”

Many in the GOP do. Our problem is that too many who do are not in elected office and/or not running for office (while, yes, some who have good sense are in elected office).

But, too many in elected office who do “have good sense” and are capable of expressing it (at least to their supporters), often fail to learn how to effectively go against the agenda (line of questioning) of the mainstream media; which lets our opponents set the atmosphere of any topic/issue; in which even some of our folks in office with “good sense” become defensive against the media’s line, leaving an entirely different - Conservative - approach to an issue unspoken.

Unless the questions themselves from the mainstream media are questioned, Conservative “good sense” often is not actively engaged in an issue. This is a real issue not of inate “good sense” but communication skill.

Saxxon Woods:

You can get back to us when Mittens has been nominated and when Obozo has been re-elected. You can then tell us how much no one missed our votes.

Help dump Romney or pay the price.

“If you actually believe that the GOP Congressional caucuses under corrupt and spineless quislings like Boehner and McConnell are going to do anything to restrain their soulmate Romney, then a lot of people here will want some of what you are smoking.”

Then we can hope you and the majority like you will work hard enough for OUR Conservative Congressional rep candidates, that the “spineless quislings” will no longer be in charge; no matter who the POTUS is.

I may never directly support Romney, but more importantly I can never vote for Obama nor abdicate my vote to anyone going against Obama who is neither the GOP candidate nor anywhere capable of beating Obama, as some kind of “protest” vote against someone else; knowing that “protest” vote will in fact not help defeat Obama.

That said, I personally see the Congress as the more important point of our focus in this cycle. It remains the one area where we can still actively work for individuals supporting our views; and it is the one area that can still check ANY POTUS - if enough of us work hard enough at it.

So, we Conservatives need to focus on the things that are open to us, no matter what other things may be not to our liking, That is how movements stay in the race.

"Pls don't do the 3rd party thing. Do you want Big Ears stacking the Supreme Court? I assure you that will be the final nail in the coffin. "

The "final nail" was when the GOP and most Conservatives stood by and said nothing when this fraud and criminal was illegally installed as president.

Now they are just shoveling $#!+ on the coffin while useless little men like you gnash your teeth and wail like women.

Then you better join your elite establishment buddies and stop Mittwit BEFORE he is nominated or those who actually care about issues and are deadly serious will withhold our votes from the spineless, brainless cowardly wimp trust fund baby and you and your children will have to suffer. Have I made myself clear? And I am NOT changing my mind. Temper tantrum? yes! Pathetic? Not on your life.

Reagan made a nationally televised speech a few days before the election of 1964, wasting his efforts on social revolutionary Barry Planned Barrenhood Goldwater. Nonetheless, despite that waste of Reagan's talent on Goldwater, it was a truly magnificent speech: A Time for Choosing. My generation of young conservatives knew we had our star. It took sixteen years of him being derided by Establishment RINOs and Demonrats alike as the co-star of Bedtime for Bonzo but he was elected Governor of California when it was still part of America, served two terms, crushed leftist student rebellions (our personal enemies), nearly toppled RINO Ford in 1976 and then was elected and re-elected in presidential landslides (took 89 states out of a possible 100, including Taxachusetts twice and purposely allowed Mondale to carry Minnesota by cancelling his campaigning there on the last weekend).

If you insist on nominating a sorry POS like Romney the Job Destroyer and all purpose Obama in GOP drag, then you and your children will just have to suffer for the sake of our country. You won't be alone. You won't be the first and you won't be the last. If you are not ready to join this resistance, hey, that's your right but don't bother crying me a river when the Mittwit is defeated in November. I don't really give a rat's patoot.

That's my position and you are apparently going to be surprised at just how stubbornly I will stick to it.

The execrable Goldwater had a very good speechwriter, Karl Hess, who later became a leftist libertarian before he died prematurely but he was a great writer. His craft was so good, he would probably have elected Ron Paul but The tail end of Goldwater's nomination acceptance speech was: "I will fight and I know you will too until our cause has one day inspired the world and led to a tomorrow worthy of all our yesterdays." Remember those words in November when we destroy the baby-scraping, lavender encouraging, gun grabbing, globaloneyist, money obsessive Mittwit. If he actually manages to be elected (fat chance!) we will fight against him as we did against Nixon and Ford and Rockefeller and Romney the Elder and John Lindsay. I don't know yet just whom we will elect POTUS in the future when we have seized the party or replaced it but, as with Reagan's elections, every American will be a beneficiary.

My Congressman is Don Manzullo. His district is, by far, the most Republican and conservative in Illanoy. He is being primaried by a fine new Congressman Adam Kinzinger from an adjacent district which was butchered by the Sickago dominated legislative redistricting. I will support Manzullo who has strayed only on last year's debt ceiling increase and has completely turned against such actions now and deserves re-election. Mr. Kinzinger should refocus and spend the next three years organizing a statewide challenge to Durbin who will have the misfortune of running in a gubernatorial election year in 2014. By then, Illanoy will be admitted to the UN as a full-fledged Third World nation and Quinn will have a wider field to contend with to earn the title of "Worst in Show." It will be a close contest with Kim Ding Dong Whazzisname of North Korea. Do NOT let Quinnocchio get nuclear weapons.

My Senators are Mark Nancyboy Kirk and Little Dick Durbin. I would not vote for either on a bet. I voted for the Machine Demonrat Alex Giannoulias against Nancyboy. Think Bush the Elder urging Louisiana Republicans to vote for Democrat, then future federal inmate Edwin Edwards, over Ku Klux Klan Grand WhoopDeeDoo David Duke (the GOP candidate) for governor of Louisiana years ago. Louisiana liberals who had made a career of detesting Edwards, did their par by distributing bumper stickers "Vote for the Crook. It's THAT important!" I prefer male senators who date women. I thought Giannoulias should have had bumper stickers saying: "Vote Straight in 2008 Before it Is Too Late!" Giannoulias is, no doubt a Cook County crook and eventually to be indicted and convicted like so many before him, but we must have proper priorities. At least he knows what goes where. Kirk is a social revolutionary and a self-described "fiscal conservative" whatever that may be and is as addicted to pork as the rest of them.

Durbin had once held a Congressional District in South Central Illannoy rumored to be a distant successor to Lincoln's. Durbin, alleged to have then been a Lithuanian Catholic, was then pro-life but no more. If ever you may shake his hand, shower in scalding water immediately. I'd sooner vote for Chairman Mao who was more conservative than has been Little Dick as a US Senator.

My Governor is Pat Quinn who has about as many functioning braincells as the Emperor Caligula does today. Competitive with Massachusetts Deval Patrick, Connecticut's Danell Malloy (whose parents were spelling challenged apparently), and California's Jerry Brown, I honestly vote for Quinn as Worst in Show. Patrick Quinn may well be the first Illanoy Demonrat governor in about 40 years not to wind up in the federal hoosegow. That is only because, unlike Blagojevich and Dan Walker and Ott Kerner, Quinnochio is too utterly stupid to form criminal intent. We believe that Sickago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel is going to primary him and deliver Illannoy of the shame of having Quinnochio as governor. Rahm is not too stupid to form criminal intent. If he runs, he will win and his fate is sealed. It is not a matter of whether but only of what he will be convicted of and when.

Illannoy Don't forget state legislators. My state senator and representative both pose as conservatives but are actually party hacks for the Republican Wing of the Cook County Demonratic Machine. I may well not vote for them either unless they give me more of an excuse than they have so far.

We need a sense of humor at this stage of history. For attacks on several Demonrats from the Land of Obozo and alleged Republican Nancyboy Kirk (my other US senator), read #90. Neither Ron Paul nor his navel are mentioned even once. Nor do I mention the Mittwit there. If you’re not interested, you don’t have to be.

"As Machiavelli wisely observed in The Prince, it is better to be feared than to be loved. They aren't going to love us in any event."

Puts me in mind of another lesson from a different kind of literature, but with a kindred point -

"Let us hear which will laugh loudest. Think not to frighten me with your deviltry. Come witch, come wizard, come Indian powwow, come devil himself, and here comes Goodman Brown. You may as well fear him as he fear you." -

(Nathaniel Hawthorne, "Young Goodman Brown")

Your loss then.

My friend Black Elk does not write (or I suspect speak) in sound bites for the convenience of those with attention deficit.

While he is at times verbose, I have found it not to be confused with verbiage. If you stick with it, you will find some of his word pictures quite entertaining. (Unless of course, he happens to be roasting one of your sacred cows.)

I apologize if I got out of kilter.

All of this “If I don’t get my way, I’m taking my toys and staying home!” crap is EXACTLY how we ended up with Obama in 2008, if you recall. And I guess it’s just pi***g me off.

My bank account and my kids future can’t handle another four years of Obama.

I don't give a rat's ass about the GOP. I care greatly about the country I was born to and my ancestors and my country men that died defending it.

The GOP is an inept organization, whose principals are increasingly muddy to me. Just look at Boehner or the presumptive GOP presidential candidate.

I'll say this for the Dems, they are at least consistent and militant in their principles of socialism, multiculturalism and the dismantling of the US as we've known it.
