Luntz grudgingly admits Newt won.
Good debate tonite. One of the best.
I loved the way Newt went after Juan Williams on the minor jobs topic. Flat out smoked him and exposed the liberal media. (again)
Perry did better than he has in a while.
Paul was out there crazy again.
Santorum disappointed me tonite. Came off as weak and timid.
Newt and Romney did the best. Newt probably edged Romney, but will it be enough to change things?
All candidates got good information in. Probably due to having fewer candidates on the platform.
No big lines or major gaffes by anyone. End the end, this won’t change much. I do think SC will close some before Saturday. But Romney’s lead in the polls has been growing the last few days. Will anything in this debate change that momentum? Probably not. Mitt wins SC by at least 5 points. And looks like he will blow them all out in FLA.

IF Romney is against Mccain/Feingold....why did he have McCain stump for him? IF Mitt is against the super pacs ..why did he tell Newt after Iowa “if you can’t take the heat get out of the kitchen” HEARD THERE are fireworks outside going on for Newt and the standing O lasted into the commercials...GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NEWT

Ed Rollins just had an awkward moment saying he can't picture the black lady hosting the debate panel in a hood.

Luntz is saying Gingrich had the most applause lines. He thinks Gingrich will get a bump from this debate.
Here’s a new psychological term for you Marcella: “re-tread”. Newt is a re-tread - who obviously needs money and wants to sell books/personal speaking engagements.

Possibly grudging personally, but he couldn’t de-emphasize how big of a win this debate was for Newt.
I wouldn't stake Newt's election on his ability to debate. The left will simply do what we did with W when he faced Gore and Kerry....set low expectations. When Newt wins, they will claim they expected it but we held our own. It worked for us in 2000 and 2004.
