GOP Debate
(Excerpt) Read more at live.foxnews.com ...
Rwitter gives Willie Mitty as dodging the answers on everything
While we’re all fantasizing about the ideal GOP ticket as among the current contenders, I’d go with Newt/Perry. Perry would bring executive experience; otherwise, with Newt/Santorum, you’d have two with only legislative experience.
One way or another, it would have been interesting to watch.
idiots on twitter saying Paul won tonight...Newt in 2nd...Romney below the line. Newt won...who are the paultards
WOW, Mitt is below zero in RED for the Twitter responses. Mitt and Crazy Uncle Paul did great.
I don’t like this Fox polling on whether they are “dodging” questions. What about the actual content of their answers? Considering how inane most of the questions are, the candidates should dodge them.
FauxNews reviewing the “twitter” votes....hmmm. after disqualifying RuPaulbot votes, Newt is looking GREAT! Romneydodger!!
LOL!
Who are all these Twits that thought that nut case Ron Paul did well?
The guy is a whackjob.
Romney bombed according to Fox, and Newt did great, but RuPaul still in there, obviously because his fanatical supporters will do anything for their uncle fester
Newt ends with a fantastic answer on Nochild left behind ...return power not only to states, but ask STATES to reduce their spending and return power to LOCAL entities ...BEAUTIFUL answer!!!
Fox presenting Twitter analysis right now which is going better for Newt and HORRID for RoMoney.
From HotAir feed: guypbenson Newt gets the last word in a debate that he won. #SCdebate
Twitter feedback to FOX is sure not sounding like us. Gingrich made to sound mediocre? LOL!
As a Santorum supporter, there is no question Gingrich won this debate so decisively that all the others were left behind in the dust. Were I in SC, I would probably vote for Gingrich on Saturday. I still think Santorum would be a good president, but his chances are too remote.
***WINNER*** Newt Gingrich
Runners-up as follows, in order:
Rick Perry
Rick Santorum
Jon Huntsman
Mitt Romney
Ron Paul
Yes, by not opening his mouth, Jon Huntsman did better than both Ron Paul and Mitt Romney.
Newt, by any reasonable measure, took front-runner status tonight. Book it.
Perry had a lot of excellent answers tonight. I said just recently that he had nothing going for him, but I think you can make the case that he’s got momentum. I’d like him as VP to Newt.
Santorum made a huge mistake going after Newt. Not only did he get put in his place, he also turned me off. I’d sooner see him drop out than Perry.
Ron Paul is only dimly aware of his own existence.
Romney was torn to shreds over and over again. Fox is showing a summary of the Twitter responses and people apparently saw him for what he is.
I don't think so Mittens. The Supreme Court has recently opined that super pacs have first Amendment Rights.
See Citizen United v. FEC.
Romney took some major hits in this debate.
FOX twitter graph - "Paul is seen as giving straight answers." ROLF!
The Babe hits one more out on education! What a night for the Bambino!
Perry and Gingrich were terrific. I think Perry gained the most tonight. Santorum started off well but lost some momentum in the second half. Romney was the same as he ever was.
Paul finished ninth behind Hunstman, Cain, Bachmann and McCotter, regardless of what his spam monkeys are tweeting.
that’s exactly what Palu supporters are “ Twits
ignore them , a bunch of clueless punks
Reinstate the draft , send them all to EOD
