That's a great way to put it. The rest of your post was right on, as well.
I did a search and every website I found, including Breitbart's, credits the AP as the source.
Which new media source did the AP copy from?
(Article by: JULIE PACE , Associated Press)
Agreed!
Have you all noticed that if you post a negative Newt item it gets to the side bar. I’ve posted numerous positive items on Newt that never get there. Why?
“On Saturday, Gingrich attended a question-and-answer session at a black church. Yet blacks made up just 2 percent of voters in the 2008 South Carolina GOP primary, according to exit polls.
Oh, and it looked like nobody checked to make sure the microphones were working at the church forum.”
Why actually are you poosting this crap? And why does it get on the side bar? Newt shows up at a black church and you criticize it?
Hey, Folks, this is why we’re going to get Romney as the nominee. I’m sick of this.
Agree. We need some positive focus for Newt on freerepublic.com
Newt won the FR straw poll, so it’s clear he has many supporters on this website hoping he wins. Not saying negative titles against Newt should be banned, not saying that at all.
But why do only the anti-Newt thread titles get all the exposure? Why aren’t the pro-Newt thread titles ever highlighted in the side bar?
another candidate who was ready to talk but not ready to win.
“AP and Reuters put a hard spin to the left on everything they report.”
That’s an understatement for reuters.
Read reuter’s Middle East bureau stories. They read like press releases from Joseph Goebbel’s Ministry of Propaganda. The hatred of Jews and Israel is unbelievable. Reuters should be banned from FR as the neo-Nazi organization that it is.
The more that comes out about Romney the more like Obama he is. Lots of questions regarding him even being a natural born citizen. Dad born in Mexico, and wasn’t a naturalized citizen when Mittens was born.
Link to the CSPAN video, please.
yeah, I agree Reuters worse - considerably worse, particularly on Israel. AP is also hard left, though.
Yes, you are right.
"This way please Mr. Gingrich" The other folks at the home miss you."
I agree. Warts and all, Newt is still the best candidate we have left. Conservatives had better start rallying around him, or we’re going to be stuck with Romney.
First of all, if Newt can make it on his own merit and explain his past mistakes without tearing down other conservatives, fine. Thus far I haven’t seen the posters who cry to you doing that.
My point was exactly as you stated....there is no “perfect” candidate. For every bash a Newt supporter can come up with something “horrendous” against Santorum, I can counter with something far worse regarding Newt that his supporters would like to ignore. The same was done to Duncan Hunter by McLame supporters and Fred Thompson supporters last time and we see where that got us.
It’s kind of long far an ad. Guess it’s just a web ad not a TV ad.
TAKING OUT MITT ROMNEY IS TOP PRIORITY right now, so he LOSES the primary. If the Democrats end up helping that cause, that's okay with me.
Here you go. I recommend speeding through the shaking-hands meet-and-greet for both candidates, and getting to the meat -- the intros by the presenters, and Newt's, and then Santorum's, responses to the very excellent questions put forth by the panel.
Newt is not a perfect man, but then in one way or another we can say that of every Republican candidate, to be sure, not on the same issue with each, but every one is flawed in some way.
If we the conservative people allow the enemy that is the media manipulate US into making the perfect enemy of the good, we will end up with the demonic at the helm of America and the Republic will come to an end. We have in our midst many posters urging and browbeating us to make the perfect the enemy of the good. Each time they're called on it, they try to establish a single perspective by which they can convince readers one particular alternate to Newt Gingrich is more perfect than Newt. But they always avoid the issues over which it becomes obvious that their alternate is far less perfect, over all.
