Iran Warns Gulf Countries Not To Replace Its Oil
Haaretz ^ | 15 Jan 2012 | Reuters

Iran's Gulf Arab neighbors should not raise their production to replace Iranian oil if the European Union goes ahead with a ban on Iranian crude imports, Iran's OPEC governor said on Sunday.

The EU has agreed in principle to ban imports of Iranian oil, while the United States has pressured Asian buyers to reduce imports to starve Iran of revenue for its disputed nuclear program.

"If the oil producing Gulf states give the green light to replacing Iran's oil these countries would be the main culprits for whatever happens in the region - including the Strait of Hormuz," Khatibi told the Sharq daily newspaper.

I know people will perceive this as empty bluster from Iran. However, it's good to remember they're led by death cultists who welcome chaos and destruction.

It must be realized that the whole problem is that Iran wants hegemony if not downright ownership of the Gulf states.

The Gulf States have blossomed into a great force in international trade beyond their oil wealth. Iran has fallen by the wayside. They want the gulf wealth and they want above all Mecca.

The current warning is merely an excuse for the coming attempt to conquer the Gulf

In other words Iran threatens everybody.

They threaten their Arab neighbors now.

I wonder if these neighbors realise they will be coming under Irans heel if they get their bomb?

Iran keeps putting out its chin and daring anyone to take a healthy swing. The line is already forming with those who wish to participate.

They're painfully aware of it. From this past summer....

A senior Saudi Arabian diplomat and member of the ruling royal family has raised the spectre of nuclear conflict in the Middle East if Iran comes close to developing a nuclear weapon.

Prince Turki al-Faisal, a former Saudi intelligence chief and ambassador to Washington, warned senior Nato military officials that the existence of such a device "would compel Saudi Arabia … to pursue policies which could lead to untold and possibly dramatic consequences".

He did not state explicitly what these policies would be, but a senior official in Riyadh who is close to the prince said yesterday his message was clear.

"We cannot live in a situation where Iran has nuclear weapons and we don't. It's as simple as that," the official said. "If Iran develops a nuclear weapon, that will be unacceptable to us and we will have to follow suit."

Add this to the Shia unrest and Saudi intervention in Bahrain. Throw in an Iranian plan to assassinate a Saudi diplomat. A very volatile relationship.

We're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado.

Anybody want to see second prize?

Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired.

Iran is sounding desparate and maybe Vulnerable.
Maybe we could send Neville Ron Chamberlain Paul to negotiate with them?

Rather than it being an end of the world, some view it as signifying the end of an era. That’s entirely possible for many reasons.

With all the speculation as to who took out the latest nuclear scientist, I thought it was interesting that a good case can be made for the Saudis.

Here’s hoping an embargo of Iranian oil will squeeze their economy enough that a second revolution occurs which will overthrow the ayatollas.

Now, if we only had an American president, to support the rebels with money and arms...

We put the oil squeeze on Japan circa 1940.
Look how that worked out.

This reminds me of that scene in the movie "Murder on the Orient Express".
