But what I said is the truth. Vehicles that were built for off-road driving should stay that way ... i.e. off the road, where the road is your typical urban or suburban street.
You buy your own gas? Great! Gotta keep supplying those OPEC countries with American $$$$.
If you’re serious, you’re a moron.
1. Why was he on a HIGHWAY with a bicycle? Bicycles are usally barred from highways.
2. When bicyclists are required to pay registration, insurance, and get annual inspection fees as well as hold a valid license, they may have a point about equal road access. Until then, stay on the damn sidewalk.
Its my choice. Welcome to the USA... I get 13 mpg and pay for it royally.
How are you going to get your fishing tackle, coolers, hunting equipment, sport equipment, team mates, families, luggage, and yourself to all those “off road activities” if you can’t drive your SUV on the road?
Light trucks and SUVs are not off-road vehicles. It takes a fair amount of investment to make them suitable for that purpose.
I'm a contractor with four kids and a wife. I drive a truck for business, and we have an SUV that fits a family of six (and all of our stuff).
People like me have a real need for these vehicles, but even if I weren't a contractor, and didn't have four kids at home, we might still drive the same vehicles because we like them, and we still have the choice to do so.
Oh, you want to tell me what to drive and how much gas I should use? Well I think I’ll tell you that you shouldn’t be posting here, this is a board for conservatives who value their freedoms and that includes driving whatever vehicle they choose.
Why? The Toyota Tundra is a pickup truck.
Your attraction to a site like FR, that is in favor a modicum of individual liberty, is what?
