Did you ever consider that I don’t really care if you laugh or not? Your opinion of my opinion does not bother me or my opinion one bit friend. You go your way, and I will go mine. What you think of mine does not bother me one bit. Bye.

Yes, I do believe that anyone who relies on "scientific consensus" / "conventional wisdom" / "arguments from authority" - are embracing a logical fallacy.

Lol, what nonsense. You're conflating all the nonsense that surrounds the global warming hoax and pretending that it applies to a simple statement that the answer to questions concerning health and nutrition will be found in science.

And you're preaching to me about reading comprehension? Go off on whatever wild tangents you choose, but they have nothing to do with my basic statements on this thread.

“I read the first paragraph. Show me where Rush has been campaigning for Romney? Anytime Rush defends any of these candidates it’s against liberals.”

C’mon. Limbaugh has been attacking Gingrich and Perry, and mischaracterizing Gingrich and Perry’s calling bull**** on Romney’s ridiculous claims of creating 100,000 jobs as a corporate raider all week. That’s not campaigning for Romney?

When supporters of any candidate go rabid and start screaming because "their guy's" NEWTered campaign isn't getting propped up by the talk show host, live by polls instead of actual votes, they're just as bad as the Paultards.

First report of Newt trending in SC was reported here-—but totally ignored my MSM.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2831821/posts

Despite the evisceration of Newt, there are a few reports today that the Newt Super-Pac video was having an effect:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2832321/posts

Finally, Rasmussen, on WMAL Morning Majority radio program, said that, for the first time, debates having a greater affect than boots on the ground. That surprised me. but at the very least, these next 2 SC debates could be critical to the outcome of the SC primary.

the fact that as a self proclaimed Conservative Rush refuses to truly attack Romney and then defends him with vigor when Mitt’s biz record is assailed as though attacking Romney’s biz trac record makes one a marxist...poppycock and that is precisely the defense of Mitt from FOX news on down...the talking points as Rush always says about the media and now he is part of it...laughable

It is troubling to me...to say the least

and I am not alone

I bet Snerdley has his hands full of late...designing calls to fit Rush’s agenda which contrary to his steady claims is indeed all about him and his position

I love Rush but I am deeply disappointed.

Now is not the time to go wobbly with the stakes so high and we are seeing almost all folks who call themselves conservative in the public eye are either in the Romney camp or defend him or mute their criticism and refuse to help his challengers much...playing it safe at best to outright bias for Romney at worst

the whole picture has truly opened my eyes..and I’m 54

The campaign ad only ran for a day or so...but several times. All week I’ve been hearing the PAC ad playing during commercial breaks on the local radio. They played it again during the last break.

Today, Rush is resorting to classic avoidance, much like an adolescent.

He knows that true conservatives are gunning for him for his performance this week; hence, the first call wasn’t until almost half way into the show, and the first half of the show was exclusively devoted to irrelavant filler.

It was a great run, but after well over 20 years, I am just about done.

You won’t find the answers in the media, either. Not even from most doctors. There was a time when doctors were taught that vitamins were a wasted effort, that the best nutrition came from a balanced diet based on the “food pyramid”.

Saying he does not want false claims made on his behalf, Republican presidential contender Newt Gingrich Friday morning called on a "super PAC" that supports him to withdraw commercials it ran in South Carolina criticizing Mitt Romney and his old company Bain Capital.

Rick Tyler, a spokesman for the PAC, responded that he was "aware of and share the speaker's concerns about accuracy," and promised a more thorough response would be forthcoming.

What you said.

but, “it is very difficult to beat Mitt with conservatives split...wish they would fall out”

I’m not so sure that is so important that any of the conservatives fall out - they just have to stick together against Romney and all hang in there throughout the ENTIRE Primary and Convention Process. The one that tries to make a pact with Romney needs to be tarred and feathered! (I fear one may already have betrayed us)

My expert data comes from three generations of women who kept their girlish figures after having lots of kids and were constantly asked for "their secret" by fat folks who virtually always rejected it because there was no secret or shortcut. My expert data comes from many generations of family members Rush would consider "genetically lucky," but who in fact just eat a certain way, different than the American "norm," and who stay physically active because it's also their "norm."

You would be surprised how I view "people on the heavier side." Personally, I think people tend to want to be way too thin, think themselves "fat" when they're just fine, and tell them so when they're agonizing over trying to reach a stupid standard. I'm acquainted with my share of very fit and strong people who look on the pudgy side but who are remarkably fit and strong.

Carbs and starches in the proportions advised in that ridiculous "health pyrmamid" will make you fat, "God bless them" or not. Live it, learn it. And as for "everything in moderation" -- DUH. The thing is, two or three starches as part of any meal is NOT moderation, though many think it is. And they get fat and whiny.

There is hope! And as long as he has a strong showing, it’ll give him momentum. Can’t believe Romney is polling so high in SC.
