I think using assassination as a policy tool fits in the Democratic way of thinking on national policy. They don’t like spending money on conventional forces, but spies and special forces have two benefits; they’re cheaper as a whole than conventional forces and there are fewer casualties. JFK thought this way.
I agree with JFK. I much prefer killing key leaders to blowing up whole countries.
Of course they might retaliate and kill a few of our politicians. Win-win.

The Swiss method works for me. I would rather see generals, etc get killed than our troops.
And that is why we still have a Castro in power in Cuba.
