CBS TV News Break

65% of today’s voters in NH still wish there was someone else, other than those currently on the ballot, that they could vote for.

[By 2-1, voters do not link the field of candidates. Someone needs to take that to heart. Is there still time for a dark horse who can save the party? Save the Nation?]

LOL, Obama is at 82% of the ‘Rat voters who bothered to vote. Considering how many rats crossed over to pick Mitt, seems kind of hopeful, 18% willing to vote said FUBO!!!!

It is pretty amusing that Dixville Notch and Hart’s Location pretty much nailed it with less than 30 votes.

All you have to do is to switch the 2 votes for Perry to the Santorum column and they absolutely nailed the final results.

Eleven days until January 21, the next primary, the South Carolina primary. Eleven days to knock Romney back down into the pack.

Just got home, actually impressed that Romney got less than 40% command of a liberal open primary 12 GOP Convention Delegate state that borders his own state. I'm interested in the 4th place race between Gingrich and Santorum and would like to see the spending stats.

I would also like to see the vote numbers for Vermin Supreme if any, but something tells me Fox News won't show that info!

Anyone else notice Newt never attacked Romney once in his speech? This is not good at all.

I hope they are not backing off handing Romney the nomination. That’s what I feared the most, and the lack of Newt going after Romney in any way, I don’t see any other way to look at that as other then, well it’s time to back off because Mitt has it.

I’ll bet everything I own DeMint is going to endorse Romney in the next 10 days. Anyone else hear or read his comments about he feels Romney is hitting on all the right points.

Sickening. True colors are going to be shown though, and that’s that both parties in America are filled with maniac whackjob traitors.

The Republican Party is dead. The sooner conservatives admit it the sooner we can get down to the business of saving the country.

Sorry but this doesn’t seem like much of a win, I figured Romney would be over 50%.

Congratulations Mitt Romney on a prevailing showing and victory in the N.H. primary!

And congratulations too, to the second place Ron Paul and third place Jon Huntsman. Ron Paul’s speech tonight after the results, well it was very impressive and we could definitely hear that spark and fight in his voice! I did enjoy his delivery. And I loved Huntsman’s attitude, I am very impressed with his showing and his demeanor. I also was very, very impressed with Mitt Romney’s speech tonight after his tremendous victory. I don’t care if you understand my background at all, but having participated back when Reagan ran (both during the lean years and his eventual victory), the content and character of Romney’s delivery tonight so much reminded me of Reagan, I was very happy with his message indeed!

You know, there is a saying, and I AGREE WITH ROMNEY, that:

“Winners inspire ambition, losers foment envy.”

Without sounding too harsh, it is my understanding that Newt Gingrich has been using the politics of envy, leftist propaganda methods of counter-point, to attack Romney. As a Reagan Republican, I don’t like the tone and message of Newt Gingrich at this juncture, he has failed in his message from this point on. I am not interested in the politics of envy, we get enough of that from Obama. I am very, very – should I say disappointed? I guess I can say that the message of Gingrich in N.H. only put in my mind the conception that Newt is just a cantankerous old bug-a-boo with a rather uncouth and pesky old rancorous fart that is typical of an old man scorned of his bunny girl. Like the loser staring at a bruise on his knee and would rather see his friend in the Rugby game who gave him the bruise be destroyed rather than the bully who stole his lunch bag go to the supervisor for his just desserts.

There is another saying:

“Employing the authority of the past to flatter the vanity of the present” – so Mr. Gingrich, with all due respect, the next time you make speech about Reagan, ask yourself this …. Would Reagan have said some of the things you have said recently?

I doubt it. And while I don’t really have a big problem with Newt, and while I will admit that I am an old cantankerous old fart myself (though I have my bunny, for I was not scorned) – I can tell you right now, if Newt gets the nomination we (Republicans and conservatives) are THROUGH, and the reason is from talking and hearing from the gals and girls and ladies.

The gals are NOT going to vote for Newt. Too many think he is some sort of scoundrel in regards to his dealing with the females and in particular with his wife, or wives, or whatever – I really don’t know the details nor do I care, nor do I hold ANYTHING of these personal matters against Gingrich. What was done, I don’t even care about it, and that is why in part I don’t even know the details because I am not interested.

All I know is, the gals aren’t going to vote for him for whatever their strange reasons are, and I don’t want to lose this election to four more years of Obama. Period.

The fact that Huntsman even showed up on the radar reveals just how irrelevant New Hampshire is.

I just found a website that shows the delegate counts from the AP. Don't know it's accuracy:

Sitting here with last of morning coffee, listening to “analysis” of last night’s “primary” and have questions of my own, especially to the Stoopid Party’s leaders.

How is it that “independents”, libdims, Paulbots, etc. get to vote in the Stoopid “primary” which determines who are delegates in the party convention - and everyone thinks this is reflective of the party’s choice?

The Stoopid leaders need to push for CLOSED PRIMARIES (yes, a PURITY test) to keep the vote reflective of party members. WTH function do these party “leaders” serve if they can’t get a “pure” vote?????
