I missed the debate. From what I’m reading, good news for Newt and bad news for Romney. But was anybody watching? It looks like the debate was blacked out on my NBC station but it was on MSNBC. Who watches MSNBC? Are they going to rebroadcast it?

I think Gregory pushed them, and they took the bait and ganged up on Romney.

Huntsman will do well. Santorum has hit a wall, and you will see his big MO going south.

No it wasn’t me, but couldn’t find it when I realized how important the message was....Decided to change tagline to get the message out. Thank God He is loving and forgiving, none of us is without sin.

WHY IS SOMEONE WITH 1% IN THE POLLS GIVEN SO MUCH TIME IN ONE OF OUR DEBATES?

It's no secret the MSM is in the tank for Obama. They're liking the division in the Republican camp, and are doing whatever they can to encourage it. That means you attack the people who are currently the most popular, and try to pump the least popular, keeping as many of them in the race as possible and as close together in poll numbers as possible.

Perhaps Newt realized he was digging his own grave and let him keep digging?? In the end he admitted they were his ads and knew the content.

Read my commentary, and you’ll get a clear idea what happened today, and more importantly what happened after the debate.

Clearly, Romney will take a big hit today. They are dissecting him right now.

Re-read this thread... you’ll get more out of that than you’d get out of watching the stupid thing on pMSNBC.

I think we need a new party.

Please take note that I did not say a third party.

Perry again commenting about a part time congress receiving part time pay.

Meanwhile Perry campaigns around the country full time collecting a full time pay check as governor.

He is a great man save that milk toast presentation

Why does Paul always look creepy?

ahhh - because creepy looks as creepy is? ;o)

The study of physiognomy that holds a persons inside-personality will become stamped on their face - by around age 30.

Now by Paul'a age - well, lot of decades of creepy now sitting on his face.

So does Perry, and by the way, that's why Perry has some over-the-top fans on FR -- they are women who get giddy when they look at Perry.)

It's not "over-the-top" to promote your candidate with positive facts about his qualifications and accomplishments. As a Perry supporter, I can tell you that Perry has loyal support that IS a mile deep! I have not flitted from the latest flavor-of-the-week candidate to the next one. I have not wavered in my conviction that Perry is the BEST guy for the job!

Look at the qualifications of each candidate side-by-side, and put away your perceptions that have been shaped by the media - look at Perry's actual record. He did great in this debate - the few times he was asked a question. The media won't even mention Perry's name. PERRY is the one that all of them don't want anywhere NEAR Washington DC. If he makes it there, their cushy gig's days are numbered.

A part-time Congress would take a constitutional amendment.
Now Perry as president could lead the argument, but he could not mandate it. It's a bit disingenuous for Perry to give that impression. I found that disappointing.
