The money probably got wire transfered directly to their accounts in the Caymans.

While paved city streets crumble into dirt, Portland moves back into the 19th century by building new electric steetcar lines and a new $134 million bridge over the Willamette River that is reserved for light rail, trolleys, bicyclists, and pedestrians.

Sad....

Plenty of money for every liberal wet dream, but none for essential gov’t responsibilities.

Liberalism IS a mental disorder.

Portland took the money, but has yet to deliver the goods.

Roads first, then garbage collection, fire and police but keep those entitlement checks going.

If Portland would only tax stupidity, the city would be rolling in dough!

I visited Portland last summer, let them ride their freaking bikes to work. I saw more homeless, shiftless, worthless, scumbag 20-somethings over three days in Portland than I have seen in my entire 46 year life. There’s some good people there, and nice terrain, but the sheer numbers of just useless wasted youth is amazing.
