Chelsea Clinton's Future With NBC Up in the Air

Chelsea Clinton's much-trumpeted deal with NBC seems to be nearly done.

Her contract is for only 90 days, and while she will provide the network with two more stories, sources said it is not certain she will immediately sign again.

Some sources believe Clinton was "set up for a fall" after NBC trumpeted her deal to become a full-time special correspondent for the network in The New York Times in November.

NBC News president Steve Capus said Clinton would work on its "Making a Difference" series on "Rock Center" and "Nightly News." Capus told the newspaper. "We both want to see how this goes ... But I hope it's the beginning of a nice, longterm relationship." He did not mention at the time it was for 90 days.

So, early campaign issues (with former Perry staff) and a trip to Greece; and a charge account at Tiffany's (not paid for by taxpayers and so, otherwise; no one's business, in fact) have made a Newt a 'weasel'?

Hope you have not already found the perfect candidate; because before,2012; that candidate is bound to disappoint in some fashion. Hope it is nothing more serious than what earned Newt, 'weasel' status.

Perhaps you could check Newt's accomplishment; if only on Wikipedia and/or go to his Campaign site. Not another candidate more qualified. . .

That said; no question about 'free to choose'; just think it unfortunate, when people appear to do it; for the worst of reasons! (That said; suspect there must be more here. . .and of course; am aware too; that many share your sentiments.)
