Chelsea Clinton's Future With NBC Up in the Air

Chelsea Clinton's much-trumpeted deal with NBC seems to be nearly done.

Her contract is for only 90 days, and while she will provide the network with two more stories, sources said it is not certain she will immediately sign again.

Some sources believe Clinton was "set up for a fall" after NBC trumpeted her deal to become a full-time special correspondent for the network in The New York Times in November.

NBC News president Steve Capus said Clinton would work on its "Making a Difference" series on "Rock Center" and "Nightly News." Capus told the newspaper. "We both want to see how this goes ... But I hope it's the beginning of a nice, longterm relationship." He did not mention at the time it was for 90 days.

Uncle Web was apparently last seen around 1999-2000 when he settled a plea agreement with Starr and got a year's probation. After that the Clinton's seem to have hidden him away in deep cover somewhere. I did read that he has three daughters of his and his wife's, two of whom are said to be spitting images of Chelsea, but I could not find the pictures. Maybe some internet sleuth here can uncover them.
